Unfortunately I am a bit numb to it now. We have become a franchise that peaks between mid-Feb and April. Combine, draft, free agency. Those are our big days.

The league handed us George Young, from him he hired Perkins, who brought in Parcells. Had that not happened and Mara would have been left to go about his business we would be the laughing stocks of football, like we were when the league had to step in because Welly would not relinquish his power and was driving the organization into the ground.

So from Parcells came Coughlin, and the only reason we have had any success is Young, Perkins, Parcells, Belichick, and Coughlin. The only hire outside of that tree that had any success at all was Fassel, and he was hired by George Young. You take away the George Young hire which was not by this ownership at all, the bullshit about them approving and being involved is all shit that was spun, the league hired George Young. That hire gave us 5 Super Bowl appearances and 4 titles, they have blown every fucking opportunity to be relevant with the decisions are on them.

Lombardi, Landry, and Belichick all slipped through their fingers, not losing Belichick was on George Young because they did not believe he had the personality to relate to the players as a head coach. Us fans who have stuck with this franchise know how many horrible seasons we have suffered through, not the young kids are just starting to see how clueless Mara is, and his Dad was just as bad or worse.

Or any other Giants fans. They go to their fancy parties, hobnob with movie stars, and dine on lobsters on their yachts. Thanks to the poor suckers who buy tickets and PSLs.
