I wonder if Giants will replace Bettcher with another DC that wants to run a 4-3? Can he play in either scheme? Which one would better fit his skills? 4-3?

He sure can. He can play standing up or with his hand in the dirt. Probably 4-3, but he's athletic enough to be able to play in both schemes. Versatile.
Defensive End/Outside Linebacker, THE Ohio State University
I think he would be wasted in a 3-4 defense. He would make plays but he would get exposed in space. Put him in a 4-3 defense and he will be a perennial pro bowler.

As far as what? Like out in coverage? He wouldn't be out in coverage. His ears would be pinned back every time and going after the QB.

Even rush LBs have coverage responsibilities from time to time. In your scenario he is essentially a DE in a 4-3.
I love Chase Young, but they need an offensive tackle.

But he's athletic enough to drop back when necessary. Young will essentially assume a Von Miller role.
I think Danny might evolve into a good QB. But Burrows is the goods. Clearly BPA
If the new coach thinks that, so be it. But I think DJ is a starting QB in this league and I'd rather go forward with either Chase Young or Andrew Thomas.

And they need a QB so they may end up going for Tua or Burrow. Same with Miami
With both first round picks id take
Andrew Thomas or Tristen Wirfs
And Creed Humphreys or Tyler Biadasz
Get your defense via FA
Chris Jones. Matt Judon. Blake Martinez. Etc
Great upside!
That also puts up .1 yards per carry against the worst team in the league.
He's like the perfect size of a 4-3 DE
