I'm trying really hard to be positive. So here's a kid that I'm pretty sure no one can say a bad thing about. 5th round pick, without much playing time, especially early on in the season he's on pace for 800 yards and 10 TDs. The yards aren't THAT amazing, but still solid #2 receiver numbers, but 10 TDs is pretty damn great. And they haven't even used him much as a deep threat.
I doubt his yards and catches do. But he's also a 5th round rookie.
Can't and unlikely are two different things. But yeah DG has been pretty good later on in the draft.

With early 3rd and 4th but yet like Slayton a 5th rounder

L William's is a defensive end with 0 sacks this year in 9 games, I'm sure, no one was even going on a bidding war with for that bum

Bum?? He was all over Darnold all game, but continue with your narrative.

Jets OL is even way worse then Giants comparing the salary plus Jets starting C and both guards out but Jets still put up 27 points...In other words he was trash and didn't do anything that would deserve a 3rd, 4th picks plus a 14mill signing
We don’t know if he will be a #1 WR but he is a starting caliber WR already.
If he takes another step forward next season the Giants are set at one spot. His arrival came at a crucial time with Shepard’s concussion issues. They still have a need at the position but it’s not dire. This is a strong WR class so the Giants will likely add another one at some point.
You must have completely forgotten Toomer's first three seasons with the Giants, in terms of stats and production.
Besides being about the same height, weight, and build, they couldn't be more different as players. Slayton is not at all a "body catcher". Toomer was a horrible "body catcher" almost exclusively when he first started playing.
#5 rated WR with a 79, which he projects as a Day 2 pick and 2nd year starter.

wide receiver in the same draft. They could be real special next year. His numbers stack up well with most #1's this year and he didn't get much playing time initially.

Top 7 in all the categories, which is great considering he was a 5th round pick.
Because: 1) Williams is better than many here believe. He was easily the best player on the D yesterday (4 QBHits) and 2) You can get some better, but the odds of even getting a starter are ~30%.
Now, it's debatable whether dealing for Williams was worth it when he was set to be a FA, but if you watched him play these last 2 games and still don't think he can be part of the solution going forward, I'm not sure what to tell you.
