When you evaluate that pathetic roster you will see a team that should be 0-16. Not only do they now have 2 wins but they are playing hard.
What’s amazing is that there are so few broken plays, miscommunications, and penalties despite all those young, new, inexperienced players.
Bettcher should be embarrassed for the Giants performance on defense when they have far more talent on defense. They’ve brought in several of his guys (Bethea, Golden, Martin, Bucannon, Mauro) But the defense is as bad as it’s ever been and there are so many missed assignments and busted coverages.
This whole staff deserves to be fired with the exception of Thomas McGaughey.

what kind of justification is that. Deals and picks are all about managing the cap. A high 3rd round pick on a rookie salary plus the cap space is better then Leonard Williams making 10+ million a year. Yes easy answer

Have not been good. Tired or reading that hear. Barkley should not have been our choice. Hernandez is mediocore,at best. Hill and Carter are nothing. What else did we get out of last year's selections that can get anyone excited.

Carter and Hill, to me, have been colossal disappointments. As has the how badly the masses here on BBI were completely over-rating our DL. I saw a ton of “I’m confident nobody is going to run on us” and “These guys along the DL should be able to produce enough pocket collapsing to help the pass D”....comical.

Early indications are they have been good. Many contributing players and they're obviously improving.
Jones, Barkley, Lawrence, Hernandez, Slayton, Ballantine, Baker, Connelly, Hill. All are making plays and showing upside. They're young but promising and are off to good starts for their careers.

Fourth rounder is in 2021. Fifth if we don't resign Williams, but by all accounts, it's likely that we will.
