for one of the main reasons Paulie used to prove his theory that they were worse and that is talent. The 60's and 70's were pretty bare talent wise. We have big FA signings, a "superstar" RB, a top 6 QB selection, we had a "generational" talent at WR... We had talent and looked pathetic, we have acquired new talent and look pathetic... We have lost to Buffalo, The Jets, The Cardinals and almost lost to Tampa. We will be lucky to win 2 more games and honestly why even bother. We have a much better cjance at 1st pick in the draft than we do playoffs.

Will be a truly miserable experience.

seasons, 67 to 71. First three seasons they played .500 ball. In 1970 they had their best record of the 17 year period, 9-5, but still missed the playoffs.

Next year they were 4-10 and the traded Tarkenton back to the Vikings for 1st and 2nd rounder and Norm Snead, Bob Grim and Vince Clements. Tarkenton then led the Vikes to three NFC titles (although losing all the Super Bowls).

Worst trade of all time. Giants start seasaon 0-7, or 0-8, and in utter idiocy trade their valuable 1st round pick to the Cowboys for Dallas backup QB Craig Morton. Dallas turned the pick, which was 1st or 2nd overall, into Randy White, who terrorized them for the next decade.

It was worse than this. Those rosters had far less talent overall.
