Giants RB Saquon Barkley had -13 rushing yards before contact on Sunday, the fifth-fewest by a player since ESPN began tracking it in 2007. He was contacted at or behind the line of scrimmage on 11 of 13 runs. The Jets dominated the Giants up front Sunday.
Are we any closer to winning now than when DG took over? We need so much on both sides of the ball...
Didn't DG say he "fixed" the OL after he traded for Zietler?
Unreal
OL continues to be our biggest problem compounded by poor offensive game plan. We never run with power and it is getting old.
We need to be sure we have the right GM in place during this critical period.
Bahahahaha! I didn't even think of this until I read it here. You're right. What a fucking shit show. The fish rots from the head down.
Yeah we aren't good up front. We all know that already.
Remmers and Halapio were declared out and Solder was taken out in the 1st qtr for a concussion.
Think that might have to do with it?
do your research
Chris Morgan is at Falcons as the OL coach and I believe was with shanny there prior to the move to 9ers.
This is a rational system that blends run and pass.
Maybe Chris as OC and Robert at quality control or assistant HC.
Let them choose and direct the new OL coach and draft one more rb to fit.
looked pretty similarly shitty with Pulley, Gates and Thomas.
If shurms willing to let them run the show and build his pass game into their system let him stay.
But he doesn't seem like he would.

jones holds onto the ball longer than almost any quarterback in the league, at least in the games that i watch. that doesn't help. he also can't seem to sense pressure and slide/move accordingly to buy extra time, despite being touted as mobile. that doesn't help either. barkely is obviously not right, and probably shouldn't be on the field. that isn't helping either.
watch how quick most other quarterbacks get rid of the ball. watch what happens when they don't. whether that is squarely on jones, or whether it is on the overall design of the plays in shurmur's offense is the only question.

is I really didn't notice a difference in the OL without Halapio, Remmers and Solder.

pretty sure this is a tracked statistic, would love to see the official timing on this.
