Do the Giants/Eli have some type of TV agreement not to show

RELICDOA : 11/11/2019 10:26 am
Him on the sidelines or speak of him? Maybe I’m missing it if they do show him? Pretty sure it’s only been a couple of times since Jones has started? I just think it’s interesting that they don’t reference it.
A side note can you imagine being a competitor who wants to start forced to sit on the sideline and watch this bullshit up close and personal. Awful way to end a storied career.
It's not much of a story at this point

only to those who has their heartstrings tugged.
I thought there'd be a lot more of that, too.

But the transition has been pretty smooth, and both Jones and Eli have handled it like adults. That helped to diffuse the TV drama of it.
He's the backup QB.

Simple as that.
Like 90 percent of these guys are fiery competitors and they all want

to start. Eli isn't alone in that regard.

A backup who happens to be the former face of the franchise and 2xSB MVP. Just think it’s weird that TV wouldn’t exploit that fact

They did a lot of it during the Bucs game, but there's only so much when both participants don't feed into it. Both Jones & Eli have handled it like adults, thus mitigating forced TV drama.
Eli shows even less

emotion on the sideline now than he did while playing. He has checked out from the misery and is just riding the season out.
They showed him yesterday sitting on the bench with Jones.

We are several weeks removed from the switch at QB

That is no lo get a story, especially since there has been no internal strife we are aware of. So in any other game, how often is the backup QB the focal point of a broadcast?
They showed him quite a bit I thought...
BillKo : 11/11/2019 10:51 am : link
..the first couple of weeks. Esp at Tampa.

But it's a non story now.
The TV Cameras Are Probably Waiting...

Mara's box either... I would have loved to see their reaction yesterday.
They still show him

He looks completely disgusted. Rightly so.

He gets face time far more than most backup QBS if you pay attention. Really, far more, even if still brief.

Like others said, there's no there there.
They stopped showing much of

Alex Smith a few games after Kaepernick took over.

SF finished week 17 that year beating Arizona at home, and Smith got a few last ceremonial snaps as a Niner. I would anticipate the same for Eli.

This is a great question. We always see Jerruh in his box all game with his kiss asses around him. But I can't recall ever seeing Mara. At least not lately. I'd love to see the look on his face after one of the horrendous TD's our D gives up.

That's an utter and complete fabrication.

Broadcasters would never go along with that.

They don’t show Eli because it is a non-story at this point.

Its a network tv production, either Fox or CBS

The Giants and/or Eli have no say.
