Him on the sidelines or speak of him? Maybe I’m missing it if they do show him? Pretty sure it’s only been a couple of times since Jones has started? I just think it’s interesting that they don’t reference it.
A side note can you imagine being a competitor who wants to start forced to sit on the sideline and watch this bullshit up close and personal. Awful way to end a storied career.
A backup who happens to be the former face of the franchise and 2xSB MVP. Just think it’s weird that TV wouldn’t exploit that fact

Simple as that.

They did a lot of it during the Bucs game, but there's only so much when both participants don't feed into it. Both Jones & Eli have handled it like adults, thus mitigating forced TV drama.
But it's a non story now.
correction, most of us have moved on...
since when does the TV show backup QBs?
He gets face time far more than most backup QBS if you pay attention. Really, far more, even if still brief.
Like others said, there's no there there.
SF finished week 17 that year beating Arizona at home, and Smith got a few last ceremonial snaps as a Niner. I would anticipate the same for Eli.
This is a great question. We always see Jerruh in his box all game with his kiss asses around him. But I can't recall ever seeing Mara. At least not lately. I'd love to see the look on his face after one of the horrendous TD's our D gives up.
That's an utter and complete fabrication.
