Believe it or not there is a team worse than the Giants

nygfaninorlando : 11/11/2019 11:09 am
One of my son's is a Ravens fan and we just moved to the Cincinnati area, so I took him to the Ravens vs Bengals yesterday.

The Bengals are god awful. Granted they started a rookie QB for the first time but the fan base was so apathetic they were happy just to get a first down or 2 during the game. Horrible play calling, tackling and game management (boy does that sound familiar). They even has some of BBI's favorites; Bobby Hart, B.W Webb and John Jerry on their roster.

After watching the Bengals in person, I'm confident the Giants would beat them even with Mr. 17-42 as our head coach. As for the upcoming Dolphins and Redskins games, I'm not so sure.

On a side note, Lamar Jackson is really fun to watch and the Ravens are a real threat in the AFC. The guy is out there with some of the best athletes in the world and he makes them look silly. He is at another level with speed and athleticism.
I would love to watch Lamar Jackson play in person

I’m willing to admit I’m a terrible scout and was dead wrong about this guy’s impact potential in the NFL.

forget which one that the Giants targeted him at the top on the 2nd round in 2018. The eagles got wind of it and traded their pick to Balt to keep him away from us.

Happy with Jones and not sure how true this is but its an interesting alternative reality we could be living in right now.

I have a really hard time imagining Jints Central taking Lamar Jackson to be the future of the franchise. I personally wanted him and wanted them to trade up into the 1st round to get him, but I never believed they would actually take him. It would be incredibly uncharacteristic of this organization to think outside the box like that (which speaks to an over arching problem with this organization in general).
Let's wait

another season or so before we anoint Lamar. That Charger playoff game still resonates. Even Kap in Seattle didn't look that bad.

I don't recall RG3 nor Kap running quite that much in their primes. Despite being known as running QBs, those QBs did quite a bit of throwing, more so than I believe Lamar does right now.

Credit to the Ravens in one aspect -- they are truly all in on building this offense around Lamar's running. Harbaugh/Roman never quite did this in SF, and perhaps Roman learned a lesson (or not, haha).

Will be interesting to watch from afar.

To me others do not matter.

We have become the bengals/browns of the NFC and there is no light at the end of the tunnel. Its only a reflection from others passing us by in various aspects of the game, coaching, talent, front office, etc.
