I was team Apple, but I don't think either side looked great in that debate.

I do think the media pressure and associated spotlight from being a 1st round draft pick in NY got to Apple. But some of that was his mom's doing.

I hope that DeAndre Baker is afforded some time to grow and realize his potential without the media piling on so much. Baker has talent, and this asshole refs have thrown so many phantom PI calls on him it's absurd.

He had a crappy last few games at Florida, but the kid was such a steady and athletic CB that I thought he would be for sure a lockdown nickel guy. I would've taken him over Apple every day and twice on Sundays.


And I'm surprised about the lack of hustle from him. He comes from a good family and his dad is a football coach. No tolerance for that shit.

wow..seriously short memories. I remember Apple constantly avoiding contact, holding WR's, and completely missing assignments...and he was taken much higher than Baker.
