All it says is you are a fucking reactionary moron who grasps on whatever happened in the last 27 seconds. Clowney is on pace for 5 sacks and has been a major dissappointment for them, but he has one good game on Monday night and everyone wants to go out and grab him.
i kinda would rather have williams pushing the middle of the line back every other down than the occasional Clowney sack
In last yeaes playoff game I observed him just stand straight up immediately as ball snapped on several big plays. No to minimum effort.
People mistakenly believe they can get the high side out of him all the time.
He is a pass rusher only and only when he puts all in. On a good team with a dolid D snd well coached with Seattle he can be effective
But to think a bad team like the Giants, he will do anything more then grab is one off play in meaningless scenarios and accumulate good looking stats by years end but had no impact; is crazy
Not the type who can turn around a lead a D.
Well played!
One of the most dominant performances I have seen
In
Quite a few years
It's the fact that the Seahawks gave a 1st for him, they'll tag him if necessary, he will not be hitting the open market.
I thought his name was Laurel Ngakoue?
I've watch about half the Seahawks games now. This is the first time I've seen him make an impact, like at all. But now because he had a great performance in primetime he's the greatest thing since sliced bread. The Seahawks may not make an effort to retain him. Actually be surprised if they do unless he has at least a few more performances like this one.

stop making posts for wanting players that would make our team better!! Seriously dude...go piss up a rope.

Performance like what, pick up a fumble?

If you watched the game last night, the guy did a lot more than pickup a fumble. He blew up several plays that didn't turn into sacks or TFLs.
Spending top dollar on him may very well be a bad idea because he is inconsistent, but he was dominant in last night's game.
How will we have an answer for that game? Seattle will be resting their starters since they'll already have clinched the division.
Clowney is a force up front. I get if people don't want to "overpay" that's one thing (I'm personally fine tying up big $$$ in the trenches) but to not evaluate Clowney as a difference maker? Clueless.
It's almost like some fans don't remember what works: Having a great DLine (that means 6 or 7 good players). Remember the 4 Aces? It's OK to have premium resources tied up in premium positions.
You gotta laugh as we watch our D get destroyed and then say no thanks to Clowney, Leonard Williams and any other big time DLs. No. Let's just keep putting B.J. Hill's, Lorenzo Carter's and Dalvin Tomlinson's on the field and be the laughingstock of the NFL. Who needs good players?
The Giants have 2 good DLs - Williams & Dexter Lawrence. If they can add Clowney and draft a stud Edge Rusher #1, all the sudden they have a chance to destroy QBs again and have a respectable Defense.
They aren't as far off as it might appear - but they need a couple more Aces up front and they have the resources.
There are a million reasons teams let good players go. Are you saying that any player that is let go or traded isn’t very good? Because we can spin that around and asked, if he was so mediocre, why would a well run franchise like Seattle want him?
