He was the 78th overall pick in 2018. He turns 23 in 3 days. He's worth a shot IMO. Doesn't hurt to bring in a young talented player.
Sy had him as his 7th ranked LB in 2018 and gave him the same grade as Leighton Vander Esch.
Has anybody seen him play for Cleveland?
The bengals drafted him, cut him, the Browns then signed him and then cut him.

Thanks! I should have pointed that out. Very odd though that he's been cut twice in 2 years.
I know nothing about Malik Jefferson, and you never know, but I'd say it's more telling than odd.

He wasn't the Browns 3rd rounder.

Not odd, he just stinks.
Still, this is a perfect case of kicking the tires and seeing if the light turns on. His athleticism and physical traits alone make him appealing.
I know that there is a lot of thought here on BBI about coaching, and are the coaches getting everything they should out of the young (and old) players. If that is the case, then maybe young players from Cincinnati, and Cleveland are also enjoying a lack of coaching. Who knows maybe another change of scenery is what Jefferson needs. A lot of poster, me included were looking forward to seeing Tuzar Skipper too.
