Hello all, since I've got my spreadsheet churning out draft order this year, I'm seeking help from anyone who knows the rules on draft order.
The question is: if the Giants sweep Washington, but has a lower strength of schedule, do they pick ahead of Washington?
I am going by what appears on the NFL ops web site:
------------------------
In situations where teams finished the previous season with identical records, the determination of draft position is decided by strength of schedule — the aggregate winning percentage of a team’s opponents. The team that played the schedule with the lowest winning percentage will be awarded the higher pick. If the teams have the same strength of schedule, division or conference tiebreakers are applied.
-----------------------------
This indicates that the sweep doesn't matter. But if someone has a reliable source that can confirm that I'm right, I would greatly appreciate it. It seems strange that the 3rd place team would pick ahead of the 4th place team, but that's how I understand it.

But yeah SofS is the determining factor by that rule you posted.
Geez, The Giants and Washington have become disgraces
By the way (as I have posted elsewhere), the NYG and WAS tiebreak comes down to just 2 opponents for each team.
For WAS: SF, CAR (current total 13 wins)
For NYG: ARI, TB (current total 6.5 wins)
Whoever has smaller total picks ahead.
j/k Ray. Your Sunday evening Draft Order threads make the weekly Giants' loss a little more bearable.
