NFT: UVM Anti-Christian? Not Really Religious or Political

Mark in ATL : 11/17/2019 8:38 am
Friend 1: Is UVM anti-Christian or something beating St Michaels, St Bonaventure, and yesterday St John’s in men’s basketball early this year?
Friend 2: The Lord will punish them.
Friend 1: Yes, he (she) will. They play UVA next.
As an alum... Pretty stoked with this team to start the season

With a UVM hat and UVA sweatshirt. Just hoping they keep it close.

Really good article this past week on the basketball program at The Athletic. Pretty large aspirations.

Anthony Lamb is a really enjoyable player to watch. I look forward to seeing how we defend him on Tuesday.
Gotta believe Lamb is going to have Diakite and Key on him

He's a very good player but those guys are elite defenders, particularly Diakite.

Vermont has really struggled with the 3 ball this year. It's awfully hard to beat the Hoos without shooting well from outside. Rim protection this year is fantastic - Diakite and Huff have combined to block 12 shots in 3 games.
UVA beat Syracuse by 15 at the Dome

This will be a good measuring stick for the Catamounts. They are fun to watch.

Yesterday's game was a classic. It was obvious that St. Johns was quicker and more athletic, but UVM plays solid defense and Lamb is a unique talent.

Go Groovy UV!
The one thing I really want to see

More threes from Jay Huff and much fewer from Morsell and Stattman.
