I caught the end of Bavaro's career so I didn't see him in his prime. Cross is there by default because we could never find a TE that could catch for 10+ years. Shockey was an ahole, but he was pretty great. He could catch and block in equal measure. Had he come into the league just a couple years later where touching a receiver is a criminal offense he would be a monster.

-- Mark Bavaro - Would have been HOF if he stayed healthy, also would likely have had all the NYG Records. Toughest player I've ever seen.

-- Bob Tucker - Actually has the most receiving yards for a TE in Giants History. And, the most receptions. 35 TD's, tied for 1st (7 more than Bavaro).

-- Jeremy Shockey - Only played 5 years, 27 TD's, 3rd in receiving yards for TE. If healthy, could have been the best all-time.

-- Aaron Thomas - Played 8 years (1962-70). 2nd in receiving yards, #1 in yards per catch. 35 TD's.

Correction. Shockey had the most receptions by a TE for the Giants, 371. Sorry.

100% agree. Aaron Thomas was one of the best of his era.
