One name to keep in mind and he should get the job

Matt Ruhle if not him and somehow Ron Rivera comes free you snatch him up but Rhule should be the guy no question about it. Turned around temple then leaves and goes to Baylor. Beats Texas and almost beats Oklahoma.

Yeah...if he leaves Baylor where he has 100% job security, a great contract that pays him a tonne of money and the possibility of taking over a bigger school if he continues to keep Baylor competitive. He needs to have his head checked if he decides to leave to come and coach in the NFL especially this dumpster fire that the Giants have become.

As for the original question.

Dan Campbell and Duce Staley are up can comers and my two personal favorites to get the Giants HC job.
Guys I do NOT want

Jason Garrett
Duce Staley
ANY college coach not named Harbaugh

I don't think they should fire Shurmur unless they have what they think is a STUD replacement. I would rather wait a year.

That said, we need to upgrade of the assitant coaches. Players are not getting better. OL coach has to go.
If they can get an OK from Rhule

you send Shurmur packing. Do It Now! Shurmur was a mistake and the front office has to acknowledge that.
Gonna throw a random one out there:

What do you guys think of James Franklin? A few reasons why I mention him:

1) He was Barkley's college coach.

2) I'm a Vanderbilt alum and I have to say the things he did with that program while he was here was absolutely astonishing. Vanderbilt football is the joke of the SEC but Franklin built an actual winning team in the best conference in football while being incredibly disadvantaged in terms of recruiting resources. I met him one time and the guy just eats, breathes, and sleeps positivity and excitement.

Thing is: I doubt he would leave his Penn St. post?

Just throwing it out there because I haven't seen him mentioned much.
