John Mara better ignore

There is no denying they are simply not very good. However, this year's draft looks good and when you have a QB to build on you have a shot to improve quickly.

I agree but you won't improve with PS at the helm. History says he is a losing coach and by a long way...

People say a lot stuff about Mara on this site that’s not based on any fact..and I’m not defending his recent decision making. This team has regressed more than showing any improvements over the course of the season. At least the offense showed signs of improvement last season, I think that would probably piss off Mara based on his preseason quotes of wanting to feel like the team is on the right track by end of the year..

How are you able to determine that it's one or the other and not both? Or are you just not caught up yet on the draft picks being a mixed bag to date?

Draft the most overalll talented players you can get, coach them up to win their positional battles on every play....institute schemes in all phases that put your opponents off balance, and always win the one on one physical contests. The shurmur led giants, apply none of those tenants and are consequently a 2 and 14 team.

evaluate their GMs and/or scouting staff. I think it would make a lot of sense to back over the drafts they presided over, find examples of very good players, and then see what the Giants' scouting reports of those players were.

I'd assume they'd do this but... maybe that's a naive assumption.
