Susquehanna Valley won their second consecutive state title 22-0 for a NYS longest winning streak of 26 consecutive games.

montanagiant — do you know why McQuaid Jesuit plays in the NYS Public School Conference and not the Catholic Parochial one?

SV has got quite a strong football program!

Dropping to Class C helped but they were already very good. 2015-2016 years they were very strong. One of those teams they had three losses. One to Chenango Forks, one in the regular season to Maine-Endwell and then again to M-E in the sectionals.

More than anything, Coach Mike Ford has been the difference. I know it sounds cliche, but he really did “create a culture” at my alma mater. He’s a very good guy, too.

Because they can. Section V foolishly let private schools in at it's inception and now it has been decided that it would be prohibitively expensive to kick them out. One could argue that it is a bigger problem in basketball.

Section VI (Buffalo) wisely never let private schools in.
