Woke up this morning with this on my mind. We are all hoping for Chase Young in the draft (seems obvious), but that would mean losing out and finishing at 2-14. At some point, this franchise HAS to start winning some damn games! There is such a losing mentality around them (and here) it’s like having a rotten fish strapped to your hip. Even with the worst coach (Hue Jackson excepted), it’s possible to win some games. For a guy like Young to have the most impact, the organization has to start heading in the right direction. Right now, all there is is losing, dysfunction and negativity.
They hired Shurmur because he was an adult, to change the culture. Well, no he’s not and he’s a big part of the problem now.
Which side of the fence is BBI on? Wins or draft position?
what does a couple meaningless games gets us...
probably everyone stays and we are picking out of a range of a generational talent.
Draft positioning is the only logical answer to make the changes this team needs.
LT made a difference because Ray Perkins has started to turn things. We’re still stuck in the mud.
2-14 would be perfect.
2-14, Chase Young. Give it to me. The last few games have been almost perfect, Jones looks good and we lose a relatively competitive game. Only other thing I'd really like to see is Barkley look good.
I was told it was monorific, as I have no idea what that means, I tried unsuccessfully to find the meaning, I deleted my thread.
Wasn’t sure if being monorific was a ban-able offense or not. 😄
But to the point, I m rooting for my team today minus the disappointing of a loss should they lose, draft position is important
I like to win.Chase Young would be great but a competent offensive tackle and a center just as good
This is a "must win" game for the Packers to maintain the division; however, I don't think they are as good as their record indicates either.
If we do draft #3 we could trade down if there is a QB someone wants there. If we have the #2 pick its D. Young, DE, Ohio State for sure as QB Burrow goes #1.
Surrender for Shurmur.
same topic. same answers.
lose, lose, lose
it gives you better draft position to have a better shot at acquiring better talent.
it shines the spotlight on the bad coaching/management, which makes it more likely changes will be made.
losing/winning mentality carryover is a myth. good talent and good coaching/management makes for a winning mentality. Last year doesn't matter if positive changes are made.

I wondered what happened to your thread.
Spent 10 minutes writing a lengthy answer only to see it deleted just as I was about to post it.
It was a legitimate question. You shouldn't have let others influence you like that.
FYI there was just as much outrage over Coughlin when he got here and look at how that turned out.
Not saying Gettleman or Shurmur are the answer. Just saying true fans will toot too win. Losers root for losses.
You can look at it both ways.
I'd actually prefer one of our coordinators be promoted and only Shurmur get canned but that isn't how it generally goes is it?
That’s why it’s so important for the Giants to lose as many as possible this year.
#loseforChase
Shurmur needs to go yesterday. And we need to see if Jones can be a winner or not.
