Giants don't care about the 3rd party resale value of tickets nor if you decide to show up or not after purchasing.
You are discounting the value of concession sales/parking/merchandise. Yes, the ticket are sold. But if no one is there buying overpriced beer and hotdogs, it absolutely matters to the bottom line.
No substantial financial difference. Value of franchise continues to soar.
Not understanding the point.
Concessions are small potatoes. It will be another incredibly profitable year for one of the top 5 most profitable franchises — and the resale value of the team has more than doubled in past 10 (horrible) years. I think it was valued at less than $900 million in 2006 ... it’s at least $2.5 billion now.
You people...stop paying for season tickets! Stop buying Giants junk! People need to stop financially supporting this franchise. Hopefully, UFAs and draft prospects will tell the media why they don't want to play for the NYGs. Barkley can't wait to get out of town.
My discaimler...I gave-up PSLs and season tickets in 2010 because I was upset watching crappy football during the 1990s and 2000s. A year of winning doesn't offset years of losing. Why can't this franchise compete like Baltimore, Carolina, Pittsburgh year after year and they're in smaller markets?

Double Amen. Instead, Giants ownership hands out stupid towels to wave ... t-shirt guns are next ... bread and circus for a great fan base.

about winning and is only in it for the money is just stupid. You have people here on BBI who come to the website every day and want the team to win badly.
Meanwhile, you have John Mara whose family have been living the Giants life for about a century. It is in their blood more than it is for any of us.
To say he only cares about the money is just plain stupid. Now, if you want to say that he is not doing a good job of running the franchise.. then I will go along with that.

We shall see if they care enough to make the uncomfortable choices they will need to make to turn it around — like removing family and cronies from football related decision making.

2017, 2018, and 2019 easily the worst record in football ... worse than the Bengals. Time for a change.

Packers fans dont like beer and hot dogs.
Look around on TV. Lots of empty grey seats. Yes, Packers fans are there (you can hear them cheering), but they are a fraction of the attendance.
Of course Mara wants to win so people will support his franchise, but if a business isn't compentent then why do suckers keep spending money and watching his shitty product?
STOP WATCHING! MARA MUST SELL!

Right but that is a completely different point. Some people here are saying Mara does not care as long as the money is rolling in.
Meanwhile, true fans will never stop watching... never.

The change needs to start with John Mara firing himself and his brother and getting out of personnel decisions.

Agreed ... I doubt they care enough to show Chris Mara and co the door.

Does he need to spell it out for you? It's not that he doesn't care at all about winning - it's a question of priorities.
Does Mara care enough to kick his brother out of the job he's held throughout this slow motion train wreck? Does he value winning enough to boot some of the lifers and legacies out of the scouting department? Does he want to get back to respectability enough to solicit opinions outside of the family on his next hire, rather than just drag in Accorsi and find the next man up on the Giants totem pole?
I don't think so. He wants to win, but on his own terms - and those terms have been a recipe for failure for almost a decade now.

You're wrong about that.
add that to DG being one of the worst GM's and boom you have one of the worst teams

We have been watching the same shit for years. Bad football, empty seats and opposing fans buying the tickets.
We actually get to this point in the season every year.
