I know I know we suck, but looking on the bright side Skins are up 1 and on the panthers 1 yard line, dolphins up 6 with the ball, and the bengals are about to get their 1st win. If those all hold Giants wold be 1 game up on skins and dolphins for #2 pick with almost definitely winning any tiebreaker.
Chase Young come on home..
You guys are taking schadenfreude to a whole new level
This^^^^
Dolphins
Redskins
All winning. If this holds up, I guess we have a solid lock on the second pick.
They're also coached a billion times better than us. Flores was schooled by the best coach in the game and it shows.
Dolphins have also been somewhat competitive as of late.
Giants cream is rising to the top! Or is it shit sinking to the bottom of the ocean?

Among the bottom feeders of the league, only the Giants lost today.
The Redskins, Dolphins, and Bengals all won (as well NYG losing). You know the odds of that all happening coming into today based on how bad those teams have all been? And it's incredibly important we 1) stay ahead of the Skins simply because they are our division rivals, and 2) stay in the top 2 given the fact that this draft is basically about two players now: Joe Burrow and Chase Young. We're not taking Burrow but could absolutely get a haul for him in a trade for our pick, or we take Young who is clearly the best player in the draft at a premium position where we have a major hole right now.
Simply saying "our position stayed at #2" is the most negative way of looking at what happened today from a 2020 draft perspective.
Culture? Everyone is going to get canned and the roster will be gutted. They could go on a winning streak and almost all of the people involved will be gone by next season.
You don't give a shit about having the #1 overall pick in the NFL draft? I mean I understand your point that you want to see the team win (and hate to see them lose) but #1 or #2 are not guaranteed if we go, say, 2-2 to end the season as opposed to 0-4 or 1-3. I see your argument, certainly, but at this point I just don't see an advantage to winning an extra game or 2 when our HC is a proven loser and is likely gone anyway (and hopefully gone). I was rooting for wins every week up until a couple weeks ago when I realized 1) I want Shurmur gone ASAP, and 2) I want one of the top 2 picks in this draft... having #2 could have very different results than having #1, and having anything below #2 could have EXTREMELY different results in the long run.
I don't see winning a game or 2 somehow "changing the culture"... just don't see it. If anything I'm afraid they win a couple games and bring Shurmur back because of that and then Mara possibly delays doing the things that will ACTUALLY change the culture (such as firing Shurmur).
