It would take Shurmur 7 years to be a .500 coach

I am going to be extremely generous and use a 4-12 2019 record as a baseline for Shurmur. I seriously doubt we beat any of the teams left on our schedule, but just to be impartial I’ll split the difference.

That would mean Shurmur has a 19-46 career record as a Head Coach. If he went 10-6 for seven consecutive seasons, he would end the 2026 NFL Season as a .500 coach at 89-88.

Pat Shurmur has never won more than 5 games.

One of the all time terrible head coaches in pro football.
