He's showing an ability to make effective chip blocks and then get open. Which is really all he has to be able to do right?

He and Slayton and Saquon started running better. A lot to be thankful for. (Still have the thanksgiving spirit.)

loss of Ballard still bothers me. He was becoming a very good player.

Smith has a future and he is cheap.

TE R. Ellison, LB K. Martin and S Bethea are all cuts for sure unless Ellison and Martin take pay cuts or something. But pay cuts are a demotivator so I'm not thinking that will happen.

I also think if we get a new HC and staff we may see other veterans cut if we can sign good UFA's. I don't want the really high priced UFA's though. I just don't think that works too often, dollar for dollar.

Smith is a "plugger" type and smart.

neither were fast or great athletes but Smith is better in both areas. The Giants have found three excellent players who were drafted late in this years draft (Ryan Connelly, Darius Slayton, Kaden Smith)
