Players and coaches with their careers on the line don't deliberately "tank" to get better draft position for the team.

shurmur and bettcher are just that bad.

Why not trade down if a QB is there and a team really wants him? Get a very high #1, #2 and #3 next year?? We have a lot of holes to fill. The trade for L. Williams is a bit of a head scratcher as I thought we gave an unsigned guy too much in terms of quality draft picks; however, he is a quality player versus the run and gives us a solid rotation for next year.

Say we trade down 3 spots and get the top OL prospect? In the 2nd round you get the top OC or even WR? And both are starters?? Is that a bad haul? We don't need a QB at #3.

So many options. Personally, I hope we somehow finish with the #2 pick and just get DE Young, Ohio State, an instant pass rusher for us and no brainer.

Our entire coaching staff is out of a job unless they drastically pull it together and go on a run (that would really need to include beating the Eagles twice). People just don’t risk million dollar jobs.
