Kevin Gilbride is the head coach.
How many of you would get season tickets or at least try to go to some games? I know I would.
I don’t know why but I think it would be pretty fun, even if slightly sad if he can’t get an NFL gig or retires from the NFL. If Eli ended his football career with 2-3 XFL championships I think that would be pretty neat. Does that do anything to his legacy? It would make his career sort of the reverse Warren Moon.
i’ll buy a #10 Guardians jersey.
I think with Gilbride there it’s just an interesting thought. He can run that offense and probably school the XFL. Hell the PGA has the Champions Tour, is that pathetic?
Maybe this future league can see other NFL players close to retiring phase down their playing careers in a different way than just dropping off the NFL stage if they still have the desire to play.
Ha. But it would be smart business for General Hospital to get him then. It would be must see TV for the housewives population.

Good for them. Awful for Brad Pitts legacy.

Ok, point well taken there.
Also, anything short of championship level competitiveness would be even more damaging to the legacy.
I just love the guy and would love to continue to root him on if he choose to play in a different format.
