Tough for the Pats though; they have a good team but where do you find a multi SB MVP qb? Those guys don't grow on trees and aren't floating around unemployed.
I still think Harry could be a real vertical threat.
The bigger problem, again, was trying to deal with a dual threat QB on their D. Looked like O'Brien stole some stuff from the Ravens and created some favorable match ups. If the Pats get down, especially multiple scores, this offense is not geared for come backs...

He isn’t prime Brady, but he’s still NFL-starting-caliber, and he knows how to win. I think his 10-2 record this year is plenty proof of that. They’ve lost a couple games recently, it happens, and I know better than to count the Pats out. Brady is 2 years removed from a 500 TD passing performance in a super bowl and 1 year removed from a super bowl victory. If they win the super bowl or even just make it to the AFCCG this year, I’d say he will have done just fine this year (even if he isn’t the same QB he once was).
I do think it would be stupid for him to leave the Pats and try to win elsewhere. I think he can still be a championship QB for another 2-3 years, but he needs Belichick and probably McDaniels as well to some extent. He can’t change up the dynasty formula and still expect to be a SB winner all of a sudden in a new city. All that said, I think BB needs Brady to be a SB winner the next 2-3 years. He’s a fantastic coach, but I don’t think it’s as some people have said (that you can throw any QB in there and BB will lead them to another title right away). It’s the combination of BB/Brady/McDaniels that has allowed for great success for so long, it’s no one guy in particular winning everything IMO
They don’t turn the ball over and create turnovers. Their offense doesn’t do much. They basically try to control the clock and work field position. When they play a team that doesn’t turn the hall over they will lose almost every time. A well coached team but severely lacking offensive talent.
As a side can we please stop saying the pats offensive line isn’t good. They are easily a top 10 unit in the nfl with Wynn healthy.

yes. he was much better late in the game but his inaccuracy in the first 3 Qs was not typical. And he took a lot of hits.

After watching Brady waddle out of the pocket last night on a scramble, Eli might be a speed upgrade.
