Really good for the NFL?

Chargers tie it up late. Broncos get the ball back with 9 seconds and throw it up down the sideline. Out comes the flag, PI, kick the FG and game over.

Wow very not exciting finish and I'm beginning to hate the new norm... Flag, Flag, Flag, Flag, Flag.....

I mean, not how you want to end a game, but it was PI by rule (as I understand them)*

*I will admit though... PI is a total cluster right now. So who really knows.

it was PI. The defender has as much right to go after the ball as the WR and Sutton contacted him as much as the other way around. The defender was turning and going for the ball

Where every long pass play, you immediately look for the flag after.

The third and longs turning into first downs for "illegal contact" or "defensive holding" has become a joke.

Just watch any game on a Sunday (not just the Giants where it seems to happen multiple times a game), you will see a defense come up with a big stop on third down, only for it to be negated by a BS 5 yard penalty.

Players just chucking the ball up without any intention of making a shot but hoping to get a whistle.

Maybe the problem is PI should not be an unlimited yardage penalty.

that said, Chargers find a new painful way to lose every week.
