Not worth it.

i'm downright depressed. I watch every game just waiting for them to lose.

its been the same thing over and over again since Shurmur walked in the door.

It is envitable. It is just how long you plan to be patient.

Take a break from football. I have. It didn't suck having a free Sunday.

I think it can be easier for the couch dwellers. But those who invest in attending week in week out look at it differently.

Its tough, I was definitely in a better mood today. Actually watched the second half of Denver/LAC while walking on a treadmill.

That never happens normally because I'm down at the bar getting fairly drunk watching the Giants suck.

Its sad TBH. I love the team, I love the community. But for years I have expected the Giants to lose every game. That mindset has served me well during this time.

I am usually an emotional, raving lunatic during Giants' games. I just wait for the inevitable to happen and it does. They don't disappoint in the respect.

In fact, its a little ridiculous. They suck. We all know this. They have sucked for several years now. We know this too. Is there anything that we as fans can do to make them stop sucking? No, not really. So why get upset about shit you have NO control over? Nothing more frustrating than that.
I root for them to win; if they do, hooray; if they lose, oh well. Hope they do better at some point. And thats as far as it goes. Some people, like the Browns fan in this article, really really really need to find another outlet, cause being a sports fan of a losing team is obviously something he cant handle.

To fans who stop watching, but to each their own.

For me I watch hoping for wins, looking for improvement, knowing better days are ahead, that s how sports work.

Some of you sound like you ve been fans of a losing franchise for the past 30 years. 7 losing season in the past 8 is a lousy pathetic performance, but it s not like it wasn’t preceded by 26 years of pretty good football.

I watch waiting for the worst & usually just laugh.

So I don’t get too bummed out...so for now, my expectations are...
1. To see progress by our 1-2 year players
2. Hope to see us competitive (notice I didn’t say win)
3. Hope that people with power will see these coaches are in over their head (Peter Principle applied)
4. Get excited about the April draft and to a lesser extent, free agency (we don’t usually do well in that)

Your standards are WAY too low for this franchise.

I find myself nothing like I use to be I would get a bit
riled up when non football people would say crap just to
piss you off but more and more football is losing its
luster . One of the biggest things is the kneeling . Then
its the celebrations my God guy is losing by 40 points
and makes a big deal about making a first down .
I have always liked the hitting but anymore you see just
how dangerous it is .Instead of just making a form tackle
they want to just knock someones head off .
Yet i still watch the Giants religiously hoping for signs
of getting back to winning football so at this
point the loses are expected and it will turn around.
