A long time ago, there was a sitcom with an abusive, crazy star. Not the one you're probably thinking of. Writers would get extra money to go work on their staff. "Hazard pay," agents called it. Or "combat pay." You get the idea.
Same is true for Washington. They can get coaches, but they are going to have to pay above market rate — and some guys won't consider working there, regardless of the money.
It's about 1/4 to 1/3 of the teams, looking for a new coaching staff.
