i just wish she wasnt you know dead. Im sure it will still be good and will fill in some gaps, but its like when a tv show starts with the end and then says "3 weeks earlier" and goes from there, which personally i hate, ha.

and sets the stage for what is to come. For all we know, this may be her memory while in the soul stone. Especially if Tony Stark has a cameo as has been reported.

RDJ can play in his cameo is as a resurrection vehicle for her character. If the movie does really well, I can’t believe Marvel and Disney would leave the character dead.

It’s a multiverse, so you know she could be alive in another verse!

I've got a really great feeling Ross is going to become a big time villain in the next phase.

we have the multiverse but this is clearly supposed to be the same universe. And as mentioned above they are def setting up the sister as the new black widow. There were rumors this could end up a trilogy, if thats the case and the third one is like 7 years from now (real life not in the MCU) then i could see them doing something with her in the stone and then returning somehow. It would have been far enough from endgame that people wont say it "cheapened her death" or "there are no stakes in these movies cause nobody ever really dies"

there have been rumors of a red hulk for awhile now

Think about it- they established the rules already

Loki died in Infinity War and now 2012 Loki is back and somewhere in time

Thanos died in Rndgame by Thor and then 2014 Thanos died from Iron Mans snap

Gamora died in Infinity War but 2014 Gamora is in the 2023 universe

Nebula killed the 2014 Nebula in Endgame

The Black Order was killed in Infinity War and the 2014 Black Order was snapped by Iron Man in Endgame

Mjolinir was destroyed in Ragnarok. The 2013 Mjolinir appeared in 2023 and was sent back to 2013.

Caps shield was destroyed in Endgame and a new shield from a previous timeline was given to Falcon

The 2023 Black Widow is dead and will not be resurrected. This film is about an earlier timeline Black Widow who may find her way back into the main timeline.

They have shown the way. No resurrections. No trapped in Soul Stones. Its previous versions of characters with a different POV from a different set of experiences.

And i get that they set the rules to the multiverse and it woudl allow her to come back, but it would be stupid to bring her back so quickly. They already brought back loki (kind of) and Gamora (kind of). I dont think this is being setup as an "earlier timeline" black widow its literally just filling in the time between civil war and infinity war. Again i could def see her coming back at some point either from the soul stone or from a different timeline/multiverse but it wont be for awhile.

I think you may get a post credits much like the first Iron Man which introduced Fury and mentioned “the Avengers Initiative”, which will provide a hint to an exciting future but not give anything concrete.

One thought I did have - what if the Black Widow we knew from the Infinity Saga was a multiverse character already? I keep going back to the first Avengers where Hawkeye says to her “You and I remember Budapest very differently”. What if that winds up being very literal?

though it seems unlikely given his age, and that it's already a prequel.

There are over 300 movies releasing in 2020.
Marvel has 2 of them planned

Not to mention films on Netflix, Prime, HBO and others

You have a ton of options if you choose to see them a d you dont need to dump on what others enjoy

i would love to see them put Daredevil in the movies .The Black Widow and Daredevil had a good run together in the comics in the 70's .I think it would be really cool to put him the black widow movies since we probably wont get any more Daredevil shows now that Marvel is off netflix and on Disney +

but there was a rumor that daredevil was one of the only characters from the netflix shows that is being considered for the movies. I hope so as well, that show had its faults, but i liked the character.

from a character and "powers" standpoint (next to Hawkeye), but that movie trailer looks better than Captain Marvel. Unfortunate they are stuck with Brie Larson manning a lead role.

I believe the Tony Stark cameo is happening. Saw it reported online but not from a source I entirely trust.

I don't think Scarlett Johansson is going to re-up with Marvel for more films. As someone noted above, they're doing the hand-off to the new Black Widow. Florence Pugh is a rising star; by the time her deal is up they'll be ready to move on again.

What Marvel would like to do and what the actors would like to do aren't always the same thing. ScarJo has two films up for Oscars now ("JoJo Rabbit" and "Marriage Story") she's a little older, maybe time to put down superhero films.

I'd love to see Wolverine. Wolverine would be a nice replacement for Iron Man and Captain America, not sure why that isn't happening sooner.

Daredevil would be great as well, but you can't have it all too soon I guess.

Not that these things can't be worked out, but Marvel doesn't own the film rights to Wolverine.

When Disney bought fox so they do have him. But they are planning to wait a bit on them. Sounds like FAntastic 4 will enter the mcu first. Makes sense with the X-men fox movie disasters so recent.
