As usual, looks incredible.
Bjorn and Ivar continue to butt heads.
Still don't trust Harald.
Lagertha back, looks younger (than season 5) somehow.
And looks like Ivar heads to Russia to seek help from the Russians to conquer Bjorn/Scandinavia.
I think we're squarely in fiction now of the historical fiction genre, other than the characters are based real people.
2 hour premier tonight. most likely loaded with a ton of annoying commercials (more commercials in this show than any other one I watch).
Oh, someone will without a doubt come on this thread and type "shit, I thought this was about the Minnesota Vikings"

...and gotta say the series has gone downhill with plot lines that have become increasingly thin and rushed. But I'll still tune in.
I never thought the show would survive without Ragnar, but it has, even if lesser of a show.
So, it's al gravy at this point.
It’s interesting bc I was also catching up on Last Kingdom before that...both are loosely based around the same approximate period of English/Viking history and include several of the same historical figures, but they depict the Vikings/Danes and Alfred the Great and the Saxons a lot differently.
Looking forward to season 6. Any word on how many more seasons they plan?
That already happened in the show

Same here. I might just binge once the season is over. There's still some good eye candy, but even that has gone over the top in the last few seasons. More eye shadow and ridiculous studded leather outfits from a fashion runway.
Season 1 was the absolute best.
