2003. Amazing people up here. Great communities. The most spoiled sports fans across all sports. They will be miserable once the pats go in decline but will just switch to another sport again. The day after the Giants beat them in 2007, everyone I saw was dressed in Red Sox great.

and Edleman, as great as he has played in his career, is an overachiever who is show the wear and tear of years of underneath throws.

On the opposite side you have to give it to Andy Reid, he has been successful for a very long time and could be on his way to a SB run with Mahomes..
Brady
huygens20 : 12/8/2019 6:30 pm : link
Looks exactly like what Eli did the last 2 years

Struggling against the good pass rushing teams

Everything
huygens20 : 12/8/2019 6:32 pm : link
Is underneath

And all the KC dbs are playjng zone in the backend and looking for Brady

Getting good breaks on the ball Bc they know Brady can’t go deep anymore

Doesn’t have the WRs
Doesn’t have the oline

They don’t even need to play cover 2
Pats OL is awful.

Blew a whistle on a fumble, called a TD OB when the WR was clearly in bounds. Called a TD on a drop then changed the call did not restart the clock after they said it was a TD after New England offense was going off the field...this was all on one series.

CT Charlie : 12/8/2019 7:15 pm : link
the refs have been stealing the game from them in the past 15 minutes. Terrible officiating cost them two undisputed TDs (although if the first one played out, the second bad call wouldn't have happened).

And there have been a boatload of lesser calls, almost as bad.

Have you studied the comps? The franchise tag for a DT is going to be close to $16M.

Last summer, Grady Jarrett got $17M/yr. And his production is almost identical to LW's over 5 years. So that's the current benchmark. And if you consider YoY inflation, we wouldn't it be $18M?
Williams,..
FatMan in Charlotte : 12/8/2019 9:10 pm : link
market price should be about $13-$14M.

But the double-talk is hilarious. Some people act like he's a non-factor in one sentence, then say he's worth $18M in the next.

which is it??

There are exactly 4 Defensive Linemen in the entire NFL making $18 Million annually, according to Spotrac. Leonard Williams is not getting $18M/per.

Jesus, Williams' price tag gets higher and higher on here each week.

$18M??

Nest thing you know, we'll have given up a 1st and thrown in Daniel Jones as part of it

You can ignore the comp all you want, but Grady Jarrett is the last DT signed to a multi-year contract over the summer. He and LW play the same position and have nearly the same exact stats. So to think that's not going to be the starting point makes zero sense.

Meanwhile, the franchise tag is expectec to be $16M. If they can't agree to a long term deal, Jints Central will tag him...

market price should be about $13-$14M.

But the double-talk is hilarious. Some people act like he's a non-factor in one sentence, then say he's worth $18M in the next.

which is it??

I don't think he's worth the money. I'm merely citing the market. You can continue to live in the Land of Make Believe, but you clearly don't understand the current market.

Jurrell Casey got $15M in 2017. Jarrett got $17M in 2018. Both are DTs with very similar stats to LW.

Now, if LW's team is incompetent, maybe we get a steal. But the market just doesn't support - at all - $13M. NFW.

See the link.

Maybe they don't think that's what he's worth, but rather what we'll be persuaded into paying.
