seriously, i figured we got robbed talent wise but it had to be done. after hearing this now idgaf what the return was, he is an absolute asshole. peppers, lawerence and ximenes....thats PLENTY. at minimum lawerence and peppers will be nice pieces to a defense.
but I can see this turning into a sad story in the near future. Complete speculation on my part, but I think he has some mental issues dating back to his rookie year.

I don’t. I think he’s just a guy who can’t handle everything that’s happened since becoming a star like a grown adult.

I just don't think he likes football as much as he likes being famous. He's a Kardashian with athletic ability.
Of all people, Lawrence Tynes nailed it when he said there are players who love the game and players who love what the game can give them. Beckham was always in the latter category from the day he was drafted.
But don't count this as a win for Gettleman or the Giants. They not only paid this guy, they may also have taken a lesser trade to keep him out of the NFC. Terrible management.
for years. Pointing the finger at QBs, coaching, etc. I don't think Beckham is far from that level of insanity and it's not explained by simple immaturity. Again, there were signs of screws being loose before he got really famous.
People love to take their anger out on hot dog athletes. I loved to hate Terrell Owens back in the day. Then you find out he's tried to kill himself on more than one occasion.
We sign OBJ to the new contract not only because at that time, the team wanted to keep him but also you will get more for him if you try to trade him with a contract that has a few years remaining. Surprised you dont know that.. or not surprised you are ignoring that.
Next, after we signed him, OBJ makes statements about wanting to play elsewhere. It is at THIS POINT where I believe Mara got pissed off after giving the guy a gigantic contract.
I wonder what people like you would have said if we traded him for a box of donuts because he was not under contract. Imagine the melt down here...

Guy ruined his own career, pretty sad.
The trade is looking good. Beckham looks to look the explosion he had his first few years.
I wonder where OBJ ends up next?
Good point that shouldn't be forgotten, although I think ownership pushed that front.

Eagles. Bet on it.

Meanwhile at the Terps house....
Someone: "Could you pass the salt?"
Terps: "Fuck Gettleman!!"
Quote:
Dave Gettleman is so fucking stupid I wouldn't rule out him trading back for him.

That's a good picture. I should have used it three years ago when I was getting motherfucked for suggesting the Giants should trade Beckham.
You sound very stupid right now
The #1 issue for me was that the guy couldn't stay healthy, here. We don't need guys here who can't play and can't practice.
That being said, Nothing against these guys. I'm still a Beckham fan and I hope that he finds success elsewhere or in CLE.

How's that?

True, but the contract may have made Beckham easier to trade since he'd already been signed to a long term deal.
It’s everywhere now he said in fox

It’s not*
As usual, you forget the true timeline...

Not a link to his twitter, but it is being reported everywhere that Glazer mentioned it on Fox Pre-Game Show.
