with the Giants and Dallas being two of the highest profile, biggest markets. Talked about how these two franchises will likely go the proven coach route after failing at the first time and/or hot coordinator route.
Skins also rumored to potentially make a move and fire Bruce Allen this week in order to potentially give the keys to the franchise and full control over to somebody like David Shaw.
against the NFC east in the last, what seems like, forever.
That's really the only interesting part of Shurmur's fate to decided.
If he some how, some way, coaches this team to a finish in which he beats the Skins once and Eagles twice - the Giants finish with a divisional record of 4-2.

Right. And if my aunt had balls she’d be my uncle.
Not gonna happen so no point even mentioning that scenario. Shurmur is about to be fired because he’s an awful coach. He isn’t out coaching Doug Pederson once in his life much less twice in 1 month.
RE: Also talked that there could be 8 to double digit HC openings.... Â

It really felt like the Giants missed the boat on the “hot coordinators” the past couple years. They wanted “the hot coordinator” but was any other team really looking seriously at Shurmur besides the Giants?

I'm not sure but would you be surprised? He was the NFC Offensive Coach of the year.
That's part of what's so frustrating about these Giants teams Â

Is it enough to save his job?

It's weird, but this team only tends to be good when the rest of the division is also good.
