Thank you for sharing. Gettleman does have that educator thing about him. Great to hear those students never forgot him. Teaching has an impact that people wouldn't believe.
Won't read it. Don't care. I wish him nothing but good health and after the Giants a wonderful life. But right now I could care less about him away from his current job.
As GM of the Giants he is a complete and total failure. Even things "fans" count as his "wins" were awful strategic choices.
Until he is removed the Giants will stay at the bottom of the NFL and letting him run another draft and spend more free agent money is going to enter Knicks black hole multiple more years of misery territory.

I'm sure this is going to sound cynical, but I don't think it's a coincidence that this article landed when it did, especially considering that the media appears to have been given the go ahead to start laying the tire tracks onto the the bloodied remains of Pat Shurmur's head coaching career.
It's pretty clear, IMO, that Shurmur is out and Gettleman will stay, and Mara has now fired back at Tisch in his own way, by attempting to steer public sentiment toward the outcome that he's going to push for at the end of the season.
I hope he stays and finishes the Plan. I'm all in for this guy,while that's not very popular among a lot of people here

You're right that it couldn't be fixed in two years. That said, it took a true mastermind to find a way to make the entire operation worse than it was under Reese. Resume Dave knows how to leave his mark on a team.

Agree about DG but not so sure about Shurmur as the defense is horrible and not improving. It might be a much better team without Bettcher.
I guess the "The Plan" was to take a team picking #2 overall and get them to #1. Hopefully the Bengals comply. If not there's always next year with Trevor Lawrence.
