Entering #MondayNightFootball, the Eagles-Giants all-time series is tied at 85-85-2, including playoffs. This will be the first time they have faced off with the all-time series tied entering the game.
And Giants starter Eli Manning? He's an even 116-116 in his 16-year career.
I can see our Giants coming out on fire and Eli even playing well in the bad weather but at the end of the day we don't have enough defense to pull out a tough road win.
What I wouldnt give to see Eli throw a game winning touchdown and get carried off the field (as silly as that may look at 3-10). His storybook career deserves a story book end.
and steal some coaches and trainers that can do what the current group seemingly cannot. It's brutal watching Barkley and my prime fan-years being wasted.

Yeah. It is bad enough we wasted the last five years of Eli's career.

needs to explain why the fuck the referee moved the ball a full half yard closer to the 1st down BEFORE the ball was snapped. I know he's holding it in the towel because of rain, but he moved it way up from where it should have been before the snap
RE: RE: RE: RE: A 5 yard pass should not completely turn around a player, especially
Now that the game has kicked off, I wanna win 1) because I hate rooting for a loss & 2) It's those F'ing Eagles. On the other hand, winning hurts 1) draft spot, & 2) Anything that Shurmur can hang his hat on isn't good.
RE: RE: RE: RE: RE: RE: Why the fuck is Haley starting
Barkley do a spin move again I'd be happy. He needs to stop that shit like on the 1st play of the game. Do a spin move in the open field if you need to to beat a guy.
Doing it at the LOS is asinine. He's too talented and powerful, he just needs to stop trying to make every run a huge play. Sometimes a 1 yard run isn't the worst thing in the world, a 5 yard loss is.

The Giants are going to overpay Williams and they should.
Where did anyone say he sucks? Are we so thirsty for anything positive we're gonna blow a load at anything that looks like a competent football player and lie to ourselves that he's a top salary guy?
Can see a stark difference in jones ball placement vs Eli. Jones gives his receivers a chance for yards. Its just a function of Elis age at this point.

Haven't missed this lumbering "dump it off to the RB" and "throw it 12 yards short of the sticks" offense. At least Jones slings it.
Some people forgot what this offense ws like before jones so now they are getting a reminder with the ball placement , dump offs, and throwing short of the sticks
the thought of adding chase young and maybe schobert and getting connelly back kind of gets me excited for this front 7. we seem to be solid vs the run. add schobert and young, bring back williams and golden. connelly returns.
I don't think he was ever particularly good. I think the Eagles offense under Reich was innovative and well run, which is why a journeyman like Foles looked great in it too. The league caught up to what they had been doing and now it's up to Mike Groh to adjust to it, and he's not up to the job.
many penalty committing losers on this team? #83 smiling and laughing? if I were on this team, I'd sock a punch right in his jaw for that. Same with Shurmur.
This has been a bad 1st quarter of football for both
he suffered a serious concussion this season, so yea he's protecting himself.
stupid comment
He is a pussy. Don't want to get hurt or hit? Find another sport or a job in sales. Yours is the stupid comment defending soft players. What happened to this world?
I dont care where he ranks. Hes a good, young player at an impact position. Youre never going to get a bargain or equal value on a player like that in the open market.
Hes good vs the run and pushes the pocket vs the pass. He opens things up for other guys to make plays.
I wouldnt mind an overpay at all. I see a nice floor with high upside if they get the right coach and continue to build the front 7.
lock down these scrubs even though the weather is bad. Go Ertz. You guys can't tell me you'd rather see the Cowboys in playoffs, this Eagles team is exactly what I said before the season, OLD and injured.
RE: RE: RE: Slayton looking like a good pick by DG!
Ertz and Goedert are also pretty good TE receivers. We cant cover TEs very well either. Still too much miscommunication in our secondary to feel confident about covering any receiver back there.
You're right - the fact that he's playing well against a team that's completely in the toilet right now, with awful cornerbacks, completely erases all the drops

LMAO GREG!!! You are just always miserable. slayton is a fucking rookie and he looks VERY good. jesus, i genuinely am starting to believe you troot against he giants here just because you like being miserable
tonight. I wish jones had this type of protection to scan the field
Eli gets the ball out faster and so the Oline looks better.
Yeah he is getting it out faster on some plays but hes also not getting any pressure on him on the plays where he is holind it longer . When was the last time the OL blocked like this ?
tonight. I wish jones had this type of protection to scan the field

One major area where jones needs improvement, pocket presence which includes getting the ball out. That i a big concern for him right now. Some of it could be attributed to him trying to push the ball downfield.
But you can want the man gone & still think he's gotten some hits, i.e. Slayton. Slayton is a player. Are people going to say otherwise because it doesn't fit their narrative that DG has F'ed up everything?
So many, including myself were blaming Rosas kicking failures due to DeOssie's awful snapping. It took an injury for this organization to figure it out? Fire The GM please.
Jones is slow to get the ball out. DJ takes a little longer to read WRs and Defense.
To be fair it seems like we run 2 entirely different offense with Jones vs Eli. They run a lot of static drop back plays with Jones and with Eli it's mostly just quick hitter designs. Which seems backwards lol
Booger drinking game: take a shot every time he says, "again."
But you can want the man gone & still think he's gotten some hits, i.e. Slayton. Slayton is a player. Are people going to say otherwise because it doesn't fit their narrative that DG has F'ed up everything?
I'm no fan of Gettleman, but Slayton was a good pick. Anyone saying otherwise has an agenda.
And why can't he have #1 potential? He's basically operating as one out there right now.
Stupid Greg (not hard for you) when you pull crap out of your ass. Slayton's drops this year have been about league avg (and have become fewer as the season has progressed). He has to improve, but he "looks" like a #1 to me.
But you can want the man gone & still think he's gotten some hits, i.e. Slayton. Slayton is a player. Are people going to say otherwise because it doesn't fit their narrative that DG has F'ed up everything?
Of course he's a hot. I never said he wasn't. I said he's not a #1 receiver. If you get a decent deep threat in the 5th round, that's great. He's not on a level with guys like Cruz or Nicks, though. He's more of a Manningham.
He has 2 drops this year according to pro football reference
i like Slayton a lot but that is wrong. He has more than two drops.
Love the handle man! Homer Jones!
I cant remember every catch/drop for the rookie this year and I can only go with whet pro football reference says, but Slayton has been pretty reliable. The iffy hands were an issue in mini camp. Have not seemed to follow him.
Why dont Giants realize receivers are out and Ertz is the go to guy now....why not double-team him and make someone else beat you? Well, Bettcher has not been all that all year! BB would take out the best player on the other team, but Bettcher cant adjust?!
Does not utilize Barkley??! Why isnt he utilized like the Panthers utilize McCaffrey??! How does this not happen? An amazing pass catcher from the backfield and they dont go to him?? Smdh..
Held and blocked in the back both, but nevermind. And Tate was held too on that 2nd down looper Eli balked up to counter the blitz. Gorgeous throw by Eli right there.
Saquon would've had a huge play on that yesterday. He is definitely not right. No power off that ankle.
.
fuck that, either he has bad habits due to being hit so often behind the line, or he is not a physical player
he is big and strong snd needs to start hitting the point of attack and powering over people too
that pays dividends later on as well
Last year Saquon takes that play 95 yards.
Idk if it's the ankle or what, but he danced himself out of it. One quick move and go, I guess he doesnt trust that the burst is there so hes trying to clear an impossibly clean path.

it's a little bit of both. sb never was a true scraper like zeke. but that was ok bc of his explosiveness (not saying not something to work on). now that he doesn't have the explosion he just looks like any other overly dancing rb when it doesn't go right
A bum ankle would be a good reason to actually stop the dancing for Barkley, no?
it would, but that seems to require a major mindset change for sb that he hasn't made yet. not saying that's right or wrong, just how it appear to be. that's his style and so far he's not adjusted it for the injury.

Easier said than done. He's trusting his instincts and trying to do things he's accustomed to doing, but his body won't let him. He sees green grass and his instincts tell him to cut, explode and run to that grass. It's difficult to not do what you're instincts tell you to do, what you've been doing your whole life.
Shumur is shit Eli should have played all the games.
No, the Giants made the right move.
That and Jones had one of the better rookie qb seasons in a few years. Eli is having a nice throw back night but Jones may be the future, the Giants has to find out.

People seemed to have forgotten that its the Giants team that sucks, not Eli. A lot of you guys included. It may have been the right move to bench Eli, but it was the team and management that did him in.
Behind the second half of the Tampa game? It really is great seeing Eli do well. On the other hand, WTF is going on with the Eagles?
Also, since when do we have an o-line? Eli's pocket has been incredibly clean all night
but can we just talk about this record of games started minus injury. 222 games
I think we all take this for granted, look around the league with how so many elite level QB's have been in and out of the lineup yet Eli has yet to miss a start due to injury, even Jones.
LMAO. greg has shown time and again to be just a miserable person. he doesnt like anything good. he prob used to slap his mom after she gave him a gift on xmas. dude is just miserable.
slayton is a very good WR when you consider how late he was picked and how he was/is considered a developmental prospect.
People seemed to have forgotten that its the Giants team that sucks, not Eli. A lot of you guys included. It may have been the right move to bench Eli, but it was the team and management that did him in.
Oh I dont think many on this board forgot that. We knew Eli couldnt overcome the terrible OL play and non existent defense.
Tonight is awesome, but the Eagles look like a team that does not want to be on the field.
its great sentimental moment seeing 3 hours of old Eli...but you are making the same mistakes the mara's keep making. The org needs a complete overhaul and 3 hours vs a team that has given up on its coach doesn't change anything.
Give me 10+ years of Chase Young over 3 sentimental hours in an atrocious year vs the eagles.
People seemed to have forgotten that its the Giants team that sucks, not Eli. A lot of you guys included. It may have been the right move to bench Eli, but it was the team and management that did him in.
this team is playing for Eli, nothing against Jones but this is a young team and its probably a little different looking back at a 2 time superbowl MVP then a rookie.
RE: You guys realize the Eagles have only two WR right now?
Which two, since Jeffrey, Jackson, Agholor, and I don't know who else is out. arcega-Whiteside being seriously outplayed by Darius Slayton is nice.
But those two Eagle WRs...
Abbot and Costello?
Tom and Jerry?
Nick and Nora?
Don't get too too fired up about beating the scrubs.
I do hope someone wipes Wentz's smile off his face.
Im going to enjoy every second of this game, but you are right. The Eagles are a skeleton crew and their weaknesses are getting exploited. Seemed like it wasnt long ago that they were one of the top teams in the conference
People seemed to have forgotten that its the Giants team that sucks, not Eli. A lot of you guys included. It may have been the right move to bench Eli, but it was the team and management that did him in.
Good post
Yes the team is terrible. Actually, Eli was just as bad as the team. Let's not wax poetic. He has been awful for the past two years.
I very happy he is playing well tonight. He deserves some happy times.
Gettleman had a HR draft in 2019 so he can find good players wherever we draft . I just dont want a few of these meaningless wins being the reason why shurmur is brought back
People need to think about the state of this division before they cut and paste tirades on every thread shitting on ownership and the GM.
The Giants being bad is understandable. The team was completely torn down.
What is Eagles/Cowboys excuse? Both teams are declining with rosters they thought were talented enough to compete for championships. Both teams are descending.
1. This is nice to see. Eli with a throwback performance will be nice to look back on IF we win.
2. Fuck Philly. Its nice to get a top 2 pick but seriously....fuck Philly.
3. Game isnt over yet

Horse shit.
Eli at his worst is still in the top half of the league, it's called being on a team that's worthless in every aspect.

4. Even with a win tonight we're still in the #2 spot. Now if we beat Miami and Washington, that's another matter.
Screw all that Shurmur/Gettleman is/isn't gone crap. Point is Eli is kicking ass with serious help from Slayton, a morale boost for players who sorely needed one, albeit against a very poor Eagles team. Saquon? Still looks like bad pick to me. D? Terrible still and fortunate that the Slime can't catch.
his 2018 draft looks weak but his 2019 draft looks like a home run. Best draft class since 2007.
They might have found 6 legit starters in the draft between jones, lawrence, baker, love, connelly, and slayton .
The 2018 draft was not bad. It did bog down a bit this year, agreed. But there are some players there - Barkley, Hernandez, Hill...
I dont think i saw hill make a play this season and both barkley and hernandez have regressed . the rest of the draft class was lauletta , rj mcintosh, and carter. Also he drafted beal last year. It looks bad right now
"Who cares how much I messed up with Stewart, Ogletree, Solder, Omameh, Remmers, Bethea, and Williams?" Look at Slayton!
Was Stewart really a mess up? Did he prevent us from singing someone else? The other's I agree with but he was brought in to be a vet presence for Saquon
and blocking. I knew the miss on 1st down was going to be a straight run into the line. Once that happened could have called sack on 3rd down before huddle broke.

Dont agree, and thats my point. Hard to play well when the supporting cast around you sucks too high heaven. How could any QB play well behind a non-existent OL. It cant be done. A lot of you guys thought having a more nimble QB would be the answer. Well, Jones moves well and still cant find the time to make more plays. Its a dam shame. Its been about eight years and this line still isnt fixed.
still hoping we lose, but it was fun to see eli play well. philly is an absolute shit show. if we can get our defense together and add some to the OL. we can maybe compete in the NFC East
even though I find myself rooting for them on each play. However, if we really want significant changes on this team... then the only way to be sure that happens is for them to lose out.
and the worst QB in football does nothing for me. I care way more about ensuring a top pick and making sure there are big changes at the end of the season then a meaningless win
look flat and disinterested. Eli came out with something to prove. If you didn't know that one team was 2-10 and playing out the string and the other was fighting for the division, you'd think the Giants were playing for the playoffs.
Pretty much, yeah. The usual Giants late season win against a team in disarray that gets the Pollyannas all a-flutter but means nothing in the big picture.
Just like he did in Philly last year with mind boggling play calling. Is Slayton hurt? Because if not, how are we not trying to have him stretch that defense
or move him to the right side? Hes not earned his contract. How much of a cap hit would he be? We need OTs and a Center. Is that possible in one off-season?
At best there's one lineman on this current team that you would want to hang onto going forward. Hernandez, and even he has taken a step back this year. He'll never be great but hopefully he'll be a solid starter for a while. But he needs to be your 3rd best lineman, not your 1st.
The offensive line is yet another reason Gettleman has to be canned. It's inexcusable to have this bad of a line still. The tackles and center are all a total train wreck.
Hes somehow got half the board personally invested in rubbing his nose in any Giants success ... zinger after zinger and everyone takes the bait every time ... youd think the glorious UVA championship would have softened his edge ... but no, he keeps churning. Cheers.
has played a terrific game tonight. Would like to see more of that this final month. Need someone like him to step up next year, Lorenzo Carter seems like a lost cause, Golden may leave or will probably get overpaid by the Giants
Would have worked. All the dbs moved up when Barkley had the ball and all the wrs got behind the defense.
Yeah they actually did.
Last time we ran a flea flicker it was the most sniffed out flea flicker i ever seen. This was actually an interesting spot to use it. Really couldve worked if not for no hands Nate
RE: Beal and Baker have silently had strong nights
remember that the clown that is running the Giants had to restructure Solder because he needed more cap room. He needed more cap room because they decided Eli Manning was worth keeping instead of saving 17 million dollars in cap space. So now it make sit even more difficult to cut solder in the off-season.
Solder needs to be cut. Don't care what's behind him. He's awful. Someone else can be awful making a lot less money

Because of his contract, I'm inclined to try him at RT. At least DJ will see when Solder gets beat.
Was a TD if Solder can block. Watch the replay, Tate was past the FS
Exactly. Neither announcer saw it, just talked about how the DBs were back and you use the flea flicker to bring the DBs up. Well, all the DBs fell for it, Tate was open down the seam
Would have worked. All the dbs moved up when Barkley had the ball and all the wrs got behind the defense.
I think it's a shitty play call in that situation but the Eagles D backs bit and played it terribly. If the Giants OL blocks it up they had a big play there.

In theory it makes perfect sense, 3rd and 16 is inherently very very low% conversion.
Get them to think you're running it and playing for the punt, suck the DBs in and toss it over their heads. If they dont come down, just kill the play and throw it away. Nothing gained nothing lost.
But at least gives you a chance to convert, with minimal risk of a turnover just chucking it to the sticks with all the DBs playing them.

Yup. Cant make this shit up! This defense cant get out of its own way! And Bettcher not helping matters. I just dont think hes a guy that can adjust to what the other team is doing. They still go about things the same way.
Weird that Shurmur has opted to save time before the 2 minute warning with TOs a few weeks ago and then not this time. Arguments can be made for the both approaches, but why not this situation?
I don't like how we got it....we badly need the loss but if I could have seen Some better overall play in the 2nd half I would have been happy, the way we played the 2nd half is the way we played this season, and for them to do it with so many total 3rd stringers out there is embarrassing
I don't know why that can't be challenged? You're allowed to challenge too many men on the field so why not that? How many times have we seen them replay a guy running off to see if he made it off the field before the snap? To me this is similar.
Explain that POS performance against scrubs in the 4th quarter........get this staff out of here..........9 losses in a row set a franchise record.....no improvement over the entire season, no accountability, no fire in the belly, Shurmer, YOU MY FRIEND ARE A LOSER, If he comes back I am disgusted
Eagles adjusted. They took away Slayton and the offense stalled. We didn't adjust, and got worn out on defense when the offense didn't produce anything.
How many times have we seen this show? How many times have we seen games like these? You can't even be mad anymore. You just anticipate them. You expect them. When the Giants have the lead, not only is it not safe, but you EXPECT them to blow it.

This will be terrible if we lose...at least for me. I had no hope going into the game and then was ecstatic at being up 17-3. Now we may lose in heartbreaking fashion

Gotta expect it, my man. We see this often. No lead is EVER safe with the Giants. EVER.
well now...take a knee. if he called it with 40 seconds you have 2 timeouts and 30 seconds...you have a shot to at least set up for a hail mary or long FG

This was a predictable as the sun coming up In the East. Young or Simmons are a lock with loss And please God this one should seal this pathetic staffs fate hopefully
This is exactly what happens every time Shurmur has played Philly and started out with a good 1st half. Pederson makes adjustments and Shurmur does nothing. Out-Coached. Every single time. And that's why he's gone.
Pat Shurmer made the first good call of the year tonight using a timeout to force Philly to punt instead of giving them a Hail Mary try. Of course it proved worthless in the end, but Ill take it.

They're gone, and should be walking out with spit on their shirts. If I'm Mara I'd go down and be telling people left and right to take my fucking colors off.

My question is how are you backed up that close to your end zone and have no zones in the middle of the field ,even if you're in man which I have to assume they were. Though that would mean we actually lost track of Zack Ertz..
And Eli was not part of the problem? His inability to duck or avoid the rush is a death knoll with an inferior ol.
Solder is simply a disaster. Remmers has been better than Solder all year IMO.
How about the fact that his receivers didnt make a single contested catch?
How about the fact that the average 3rd down distance was 8.4 yards to go.
Eli wins EASILY with 98% of the supporting casts in the league tonight. But hes stuck with this garbage as per usual.
Oline was garbage, receivers were garbage, run game was non existent. You KNOW all of this, and you still expect the QB to do... what?
Jesus Christ
Just stop with defending Eli. He cant move and extend a play.
Lmao that's allyou got huh? So if you cant extend a play with no room to step up into you're a bad QB?
So good QBs in NFL history by your standards:
Michael Vick
Lamar Jackson
Randall Cunningham
Every other QB in NFL history is trash.
That was the single dumbest point I've ever heard in my entire life, after your initial point got DESTROYED and you have no counter. You should have your legal right to watch, talk, or even think about football revoked.
Buck Allen passed him on depth chart. Crazy.

Good stop by Williams, but I'm not paying him $15M.

Because it was a simple out route to the flat. It isn't like that was a timing route.

He has no experience in the slot. Hes probably strictly an outside corner.
They had him taking snaps in the slot the last 2 weeks...
You are thinking of Ballentine. Beal has been splitting reps with Baker.
Also, giants went with Beal and Baker on the outside with Jenkins in the slot for a few snaps tonight. I like that a lot better.

That also addressed nothing about the route which may not have been run at the depth the QB was expecting.
Or Eli is just rusty, could be that too.
It's also a Monday night.

No one said he sucks. His play doesn't justify the level of investment.
Doing it at the LOS is asinine. He's too talented and powerful, he just needs to stop trying to make every run a huge play. Sometimes a 1 yard run isn't the worst thing in the world, a 5 yard loss is.

Also, put a shoulder into someone.
They couldve done that by just paying him as a FA, without giving up two draft picks
But hey, in DG we trust I guess.
We almost ended up back in our territory.

I don't think he was ever particularly good. I think the Eagles offense under Reich was innovative and well run, which is why a journeyman like Foles looked great in it too. The league caught up to what they had been doing and now it's up to Mike Groh to adjust to it, and he's not up to the job.

Cannot wait.
That would indicate that the WR group will be a weakness again. Slayton's been a nice surprise but he's not a real #1 in the NFL.
You know this team just lost to the Dolphins, right?
Yeah, our team calls that an arrow stunt, Williams played his role perfectly
It will just make it that more indefensible for Bettcher when his Boys continue to give up yards.

Yeah he is getting it out faster on some plays but hes also not getting any pressure on him on the plays where he is holind it longer . When was the last time the OL blocked like this ?
and you're still sitting there justifying a guy being "concerned" with his health, yet playing a contact sport such as football? Odd.
He really needs to be replaced. I just hope whoever is coaching this team can see that?!

One major area where jones needs improvement, pocket presence which includes getting the ball out. That i a big concern for him right now. Some of it could be attributed to him trying to push the ball downfield.
Some of you fucks are just bitter man. Have a Snickers
To be fair it seems like we run 2 entirely different offense with Jones vs Eli. They run a lot of static drop back plays with Jones and with Eli it's mostly just quick hitter designs. Which seems backwards lol

Last year Saquon takes that play 95 yards.
Idk if it's the ankle or what, but he danced himself out of it. One quick move and go, I guess he doesnt trust that the burst is there so hes trying to clear an impossibly clean path.

it's a little bit of both. sb never was a true scraper like zeke. but that was ok bc of his explosiveness (not saying not something to work on). now that he doesn't have the explosion he just looks like any other overly dancing rb when it doesn't go right
absolutely. i don't know why that's never called.
Regardless, as a 5th round pick, he's been a find. To argue otherwise is idiotic.
Excellent throw, Eli has been fantastic tonight.
HES STILL GOT IT MOTHERFUCKERS
it would, but that seems to require a major mindset change for sb that he hasn't made yet. not saying that's right or wrong, just how it appear to be. that's his style and so far he's not adjusted it for the injury.

Easier said than done. He's trusting his instincts and trying to do things he's accustomed to doing, but his body won't let him. He sees green grass and his instincts tell him to cut, explode and run to that grass. It's difficult to not do what you're instincts tell you to do, what you've been doing your whole life.

Now this is dead on! Im good with it
Because:
1) Rushing 11 raises the likelihood of roughing the kicker, and
2) It opens the door to a fake punt, lob pass to an end. TD.

Im going to enjoy every second of this game, but you are right. The Eagles are a skeleton crew and their weaknesses are getting exploited. Seemed like it wasnt long ago that they were one of the top teams in the conference

Yes the team is terrible. Actually, Eli was just as bad as the team. Let's not wax poetic. He has been awful for the past two years.
I very happy he is playing well tonight. He deserves some happy times.

Its what he does...
Did it last year against the Eagles by basically taking Barkley out of the game...
He's too good at losing games to let this one slip away.
The Giants being bad is understandable. The team was completely torn down.
What is Eagles/Cowboys excuse? Both teams are declining with rosters they thought were talented enough to compete for championships. Both teams are descending.
They might have found 6 legit starters in the draft between jones, lawrence, baker, love, connelly, and slayton .
Lol wait until Barkley heals up brah. Hes still legit. And Hernendez with a real OL coach
Wanting to draft a game-wrecking stud edge rusher is bizarre?
But those two Eagle WRs...
Abbot and Costello?
Tom and Jerry?
Nick and Nora?

Nick and Nora - good one Lou.

Horse shit.
Eli at his worst is still in the top half of the league, it's called being on a team that's worthless in every aspect.

They are pretty bad.

The 2018 draft was not bad. It did bog down a bit this year, agreed. But there are some players there - Barkley, Hernandez, Hill...
Look at Slayton, Love, Golden, Lawrence, Connolly, Jones, Barkley, Williams, Tate, and maybe Hernandez.

An issue of their own making. Shitty draft picks at the position and old injury prone FAs.

You can keep Baker lol that shouldve been Greedy Eilliams all the way, that would make it a home run

I dont think i saw hill make a play this season and both barkley and hernandez have regressed . the rest of the draft class was lauletta , rj mcintosh, and carter. Also he drafted beal last year. It looks bad right now
Was Stewart really a mess up? Did he prevent us from singing someone else? The other's I agree with but he was brought in to be a vet presence for Saquon

Agreed.
dont get me wrong, i enjoy watching the eagles lose and the fans crying but damn...i want chase lol

Pee-Wee ball they teach kids to keep their eyes on the runner's waist. Giants got millionaires doing patty-cake to the shoulder pads.

we would have one a few more games with Connelly. Next year.

The Giants DBs are so scared of being beat deep, they are giving up the 5-7 yard passes.

That's actually really hard when a DB waves their arm in front of you like that.
For some reason it fucks you up.
Please, curry was right on top of him he lost his footing, he had no chance!
And people wonder why our QBs struggle.
Second time tonight they blew a double team block and gave up the sack. It doesn't get much worse than that.
more like double dorks
If I jumped in front of Curry and got run the fuck over I did more of a job than Solder...

seriously, a tear in the eye and a pain in the belly. It was worth it, thanks Shurm
Not sure we can replace two OTs in one off-season?!
We have to cut Solder.
The only counterpoint: his contract. I'd try him at RT first.
I'm not sure Shurmur knows how a flea flicker is supposed to work or what it's supposed to accomplish.
should go back and look at some Simms to Bavaro tape
That's something your 11-year-old nephew tries when you're playing him in Madden.
Yeah they actually did.
Last time we ran a flea flicker it was the most sniffed out flea flicker i ever seen. This was actually an interesting spot to use it. Really couldve worked if not for no hands Nate
I spoke too soon
Anyone?
Solder needs to be cut. Don't care what's behind him. He's awful. Someone else can be awful making a lot less money
This will prob be the only time I ever defend shurmur but booger was completely wrong. He even realized it as he was explaining it over the replay.
He was like "what do you think the DBs are going to come up?" and right as he said it the replay showed all the DBs came up lmao

Solder needs to be cut. Don't care what's behind him. He's awful. Someone else can be awful making a lot less money
Because of his contract, I'm inclined to try him at RT. At least DJ will see when Solder gets beat.
Exactly. Neither announcer saw it, just talked about how the DBs were back and you use the flea flicker to bring the DBs up. Well, all the DBs fell for it, Tate was open down the seam
Tate was wide open
I think it's a shitty play call in that situation but the Eagles D backs bit and played it terribly. If the Giants OL blocks it up they had a big play there.
Yup shockingly that was a pretty creative play call to use there.

And take Solder with him
Our wonderful zone defense is horrendous!
I think Beal shows some good traits.
But I guess after a penalty or 2 you're a bust on BBI.
Were you just sitting around waiting for that? Lol
This is more on the offense. They did nothing in the second half.
You'd think if there was anything to challenge that would be an easy one to implement.
They need to be fired already
I have never wanted a coach fired so bad before
That includes Hanley and Mcadoo
IF he can't get that done, he really is done. If he gets any protection at all.
Eh scoring no points this half isnt helping matters either
I don't know why that can't be challenged? You're allowed to challenge too many men on the field so why not that? How many times have we seen them replay a guy running off to see if he made it off the field before the snap? To me this is similar.

Lamar Jackson
Randall Cunningham
Every other QB in NFL history is trash.
That was the single dumbest point I've ever heard in my entire life, after your initial point got DESTROYED and you have no counter. You should have your legal right to watch, talk, or even think about football revoked.
