Sam Beal is a waste of a roster spot. The guy can’t stay healthy. And when he’s healthy, he grabs and holds against 6th string receivers. You expect a competent player from a 3rd round pick, that has been in this system for 2 years now. He sucks.

He should be a little bit farther along just for having been in NFL meetings and practices for the past year and a half - it's not like the Giants sent him home after he got hurt in 2018 and didn't bring him back until he got a hat for gameday a month ago.
