If Jones has a high ankle sprain

GiantSteps : 12/10/2019 12:21 am
Why rush him back? Seems pointless in this crap season. And it would sure seem hasty if it is a high ankle sprain. What's the point?

Furthermore, after tonight's fiasco, why not give our guy Eli a chance to play his last game at home, with a crowd that will be cheering for him?
I have faith Shurmur will make the right call

I didn't realize anyone was lobbying to rush Jones back

My guess is, we might see him start the last game, but I think we've got Eli for two more weeks at least.
Jones Will Play When He's Medically Cleared To Play

Although once they find out that a Giants fan posting on an internet message board thinks that playing Jones "sure seems hasty" they'll probably reconsider.
I keep saying Saquan needs to be sidelined also

He is clearly not 100% yet. (I don't see the burst coming out of his cuts like last year.)
You run the risk of destroying his confidence and possibly making the injury worse. Let him heal and come out fresh in 2020.

Use the next 3 games to see if Gallman deserves to be the #2, and to give him the experience he hasn't gotten so far.
