I remember when a Giants loss would ruin the next couple of days for me, I would be so pissed. I'm numb to it at this point, looking forward to the draft and a new coaching staff/GM.
This shines a brighter light on the fact that the coach(es), GM and many of the players are not ready for prime time - rubs Mara/Tisch' noses deeper into the pile.

Before this season, I would have never been able to sleep after a loss like that. Last night, I fell asleep right away after the game.
As a matter of fact, I don't even know why I watched the overtime. Once the eagles tied the game, the only question was whether the Giants would lose in regulation or overtime. And if the Giants had won the coin toss, then after their 3 and out, the eagles only would have needed a field goal to win.
watching a football game instead of a GIANTS football game!
I would be antsy all weekend for Monday night Giants games and then Monday at work would be torture trying to get through the day to the evening's game.
Instead, last night, I wandered into the family room at 8:12 PM and turned on ESPN.
There were moments in the first half when I saw flashes from Slayton, Baker, Williams & Lawrence....but in the end I walked out of the family room as I walked in....not caring, wondering if the Giants would ever beat the Eagles again.
Until there are major changes to this organization...who cares.....meh.....numbness........and I have been a diehard Giants fan since 1966......
Wellington is spinning in his grave at what has become of his beloved franchise.
but Pat Shurmur is probably the 2nd worst coach I've ever seen in my entire life.
Credit to the Eagles? How about manufacturing 1 fucking scoring drive in the 2nd half? Even a couple 1st downs? Reminded me of the Eagles game @PHI last year.
Just another game where the Giants coaching staff gets their clock cleaned during halftime.

McAdoo for all his faults, took a team to the playoffs, I just can't see the Shurm ever doing that!
but that playoff team was all defense - that was probably the worst offense I've ever seen. They were almost literally taking a knee 3 times and punting to the D to win the game.
Happily I stuck to the plan and went to bed at halftime. Â
From what I've read on BBV and other places, sounds like Amos Alonzo Shurmur thought he could sit on the lead.
I know in season firings suck, but please just end it already. Get rid of all of them. 12 of us selected randomly couldn't do any worse coaching this team.

Shurm isn't even the McAdoo class He is in a class with Rich Kotite and Hue Jackson
don't have to be a psychic to realize what was going to happen in the second half....saw the ending on GMA this morning... did you see the look on Manning's face once the game ended lol... disgust is not a strong enough word..
“We’re a team that finds ways to lose,” Saquon Barkley said.
And there it is, the official epitaph for a team and a season that promised little and actually managed to deliver less. This time they couldn’t even win one for the aging prince. They can’t win one, period, actually. Nine games straight. And counting...
I actually missed the first quarter myself, once Philly tied the game, the outcome was predictable to me.
1. Better draft slot
2. Don’t want to help Cowboys
3. Nail Shurmur’s coffin closed
4. Don’t want this message board to be about a 40 year old Eli. He is not our hope.
Do get mad, do something else. I didn't want to even turn the TV because...protest. Then I remembered it might be the last time I see number 10 in blue. If he had some magic left I did not want to miss it. He teased me. I am like a victim of domestic abuse that makes excuses to go back. I make myself sick.
Fire Shurmur today. Do not let his stanky punk ass pussy infect the team with collective "pussy" 1 second longer.
Oh, that would have been good. Damn.
Helps come April

I'm more amazed it took OT for the annual Giants choke job to Philly to occur.
Time to cut bait.
Gotta give them credit, they did a really good job and beat us in the end....
What the fuck
