The gutter guard thread below made me think of a question I’d like to poll the group on. We had gutter guards installed in the spring and now that I’m ready to hang Christmas lights up, finally realized that the old plastic universal clips I have won’t do the job. I’m going to painstakingly use little zip ties through the holes of the guards this season but was curious on your thoughts on another option: installing little hooks around the gutters to permanently be there so I can just loop the lights on every year.
I’ve hesitated because I’m not sure I want that look to be there year round but the convenience of it is undeniable.
