NFT: The two most amazing goals of the year so far IMO

A little something to get our minds off the Giants...

So, before watching the Giants, I watched the highlights of the weekend in soccer on BeIn (as I often do - their Monday night coverage of the weekend's soccer is great). I thought these two goals were the most amazing I've seen so far this year - in a long time, in fact. The first, by Suarez for Barca, is a matter of incredible skill - watch the replay for the closeup, what he does with the ball is unthinkable, but he thought of it. The second, by Son for Tottenham, is completely different but equally amazing. I won't spoil it if you haven't seen it.

One of the reasons soccer is my favorite sport is that by design it allows for an enormous amount of creativity, and because it's played on the worldwide scale you see something completely new from time to time. I've never seen anything resembling Suarez's goal. Incredible.

And Son...I wonder what his speed was when he really turned it on. He was flying.

had to be hit perfectly. Much greater degree of difficulty than one of my favorite backheel goals - Lee Sharpe vs Barcelona.
