This isn’t a keep DG thread or fire DG thread (there are enough of those), just pointing out that I think you could see the vision DG had in the first half up 17-3.
-Leonard Williams made some plays stopping the run in addition to a few pressures.
-Wentz dealt with a good amount of pressure in the first half.
-Saquon wasn’t excellent, but he had a good amount of 4-5 yard runs on 1st down.
-Some explosive plays with Slayton.
I think Shurmur was completely undressed by Schwartz in the 2nd half, no proactive adjustments were made.
I’d fully expect Gettleman to reference the first half of the game yesterday at the end of the year when he pitches a Rivera hiring to ownership.
he isnt a good head coach
No coverages were blown. If you’re still miserable about this season at this point where you have to make up things to make things seem worse reevaluate life.
2. a lot of our young guys flashed. Ximines, Slayton, Love, Beal, and even Baker had a good game. Williams and Tomlinson are not real young guys but they had the type of game we'd expect for guys coming up on 2nd contract decisions.
Most of the team is a complete mess but I at least think that's a solid group.

the opponents to keep on blowing coverages and have all their skill position guys get hurt! A true recipe for success!

100% false. Go somewhere else with this bullshit.

Are you implying that the non-coverage of Ertz's OT TD was by design? Pretty clever on Bettcher's part.

The blown coverage you’re referring to is when Darby and the safety both tried to play sticks. It’s not a blown coverage as much as it is getting played by Eli. But whatever, I’ll go somewhere else with my bullshit
+1

I agree. Williams, Lawrence, Tomlinson with Hill rotating in plus Golden and Young coming off the edges would be a start. Golden would be great as the 2nd best pass rusher. Need the CBs to improve and some big upgrades at ILB though.
Offensively, "just" need to find 3 good OL...

He's claiming the Eagles D didn't blow any coverages that resulted in the Giants 17 first half points.
Exactly what happened. And exactly why I went to bed when it was 17-10.
Great point, our fans seem to want All pros at every position but that's not the NFL. Who are the stars on the Bills, for example?
1st half dominated the Eagles
The first Slayton TD was as bad a missed tackle as anything we've seen the Giants DBs do this year. That's not great offense, it's 0 defensive effort
