thats a big loss for leadership purposes. Wish he would"ve signed the 1 year deal with us and had that shot for the title next year with hopefully a real ace.

this one hurts. Have to believe if we weren't saving every last penny for Cole we would have taken Didi back on a 1 year deal.

Also wonder why he didn't wait to see if Yankees missed on Cole if they'd make him an offer.....maybe they told him that wasn't happening either way.

Has to hurt to know how well you played for a team and they decide not to re-sign you after an off year and injury.

He did an incredible job of filling Jeter's shoes. It's very unfortunate that the Yanks could not get it done in the 2000-teens, but this makes sense for both now. Gregorius joins an emergent powerhouse in the NL East. It's a division I don't really care about so there's one more player to root for out there.
