According to PFT.
"The prospect of Eli playing on Sunday could help get more fans to show up for Sunday’s game, which would result in more food and beverage and other stuff being sold, and far better optics when images of the stands at MetLife Stadium are broacast or photographed."
I would hope that this would actually keep you away from the stadium this weekend. Why reward Mara and Tisch for this shit show by spending money with them? Why?
Eli Manning “likely” to start for Giants on Sunday - (
New Window )
A new low.
I would go just to see Eli in one of his final games, if not his final game, as a Giant. I would have no issue with that.
Any way we can convince you to not go? Or at very least, not buy anything?
Empty seats and low sales at the stadium will send the right message.

If they aren't convinced by now that there needs to be change, a couple more empty seat ain't helping.
Go watch a franchise legend and give him the applause he deserves.
Eli made up for many organizational woes during his tenure in NY.

It's not about Eli, it's about not putting money in the organization's pocket at this point. I bear no ill will towards Eli and will always love the guy. At this point I want to be watching meaningful, entertaining football and i'm not. Why? Mara, Tisch and their poor decisions.
If you must go to the game to see Eli one more time, have a few beers outside, smuggle in a flask and some snacks. Try your best to keep your cash in your wallet.
Surprised you're not going and tailgating. You'd have a couple cool parking lot stories about drunk you are for us. Man, this game is going to be a bummer now, for sure.

He sold 'em. No interest in watching a 2-11 Giants team in that stadium in December.

You have a wildly unrealistic understanding of what will influence ownership to make changes to how the team is run.

How so? Money talks man. No money talks even louder.
Seems to me that throughout this teams history, fans not showing up, burning their tickets outside and such has grabbed ownership's attention more than anything.
Not sure how that is "wildly" unrealistic at all...

I have been to almost every game since that stadium opened, and i can confidently tell you that I have never purchased a thing. I'm all fooded and boozed up by time i get in.

Agreed.

It isn't Eli Manning's fault this organization is a hot mess.

Don't buy beer or food during the game. Go Tailgate, drink your own beer and food. Piss in the toilet, cheer Eli and go back to your car and eat after the game.
I'm tired of watching Eli lose. He's the only guy I give a shit about on this team, and it's killing me to watch him in this situation.
Hopefully the stadium is empty.

I brought this up about a month ago, actually.
When I saw Jones starting to go sideways, I thought Taney should get a start. Just give Jones a breather. Of course, the idea was pounced on because Jones is now wearing the Sacred Cow crown.
I really wish the ticket holder would boycott the rest of the games. And don't even sell the tickets. Eat the costs and send a loud message to these incompetent fools.

None of that had any influence on changes to the how the organization is run. The history isn't very secret or convoluted. But keep tooting the horn, sooner or later one less beer sold will result in a sea change.
Go Eli!
No the wind cuts right through
But watching Eli finish this season will not be as meaningful to me as watching Jones. What does a win with Eli at the helm do for the Giants at this point ?
Eli is a great Giant, but I m just not into the sendoff for Eli thing, or the least bit worried about his less than 500 record.
I get Jones is hurt, next man up. But if Jones is ready for the last two games, hope he gets the starts

+1. DJ admits he hasn’t played much in the cold ... he needs a couple of Dec games this year in the hope he plays a meaningful Dec game in the future,
