assuming the Giants and Miami pick first and third respectively, I'd be stunned if the Dolphins traded #3, #19, and #23 to move up to #1. The most they'd be willing to do is #3 and #19, or maybe just #3 and #23. The Dolphins could just stay at #3 and take Herbert, or take someone else, and then package #19 and #23 to move up for him. I'd take #3, #23, and a third, then trade down again from #3 and target Gross Matos, Biadasz, and an LT.

Anyone trading up will have to pay the QB premium. Sure Miami can settle over the seconds. Maybe Fromm, Herbert, or Tua will be sufficient. Fromm has been a disaster this year. Tua can't get off the gurney. Herbert is the only one of the 3 that might be worth staying pat.
But Ross isn't getting any younger. The guy can't take all his billions to the grave. With all his money, they remain in QB purgatory and have only had relevancy with Marino - 20 years ago. Ross doesn't have another 20 left on the clock.
A trade from 3 to 1 would require #19 to be a fair trade (about 79 points in our favor). Well, tough shit. If Miami wants Burrow, then he'll have to give up more.
Look at the Jets, they gave up 6th, 37th, 49th pick and a 2019 2nd round pick just to move up 3 spots for the privilege of taking the second choice QB. Washington gave up 3 first round picks and a second to pick at #2 for RG3. Old Billionaires do dumb stuff.
I would actually let them save face by keeping the #23 pick, but they would have to include their 2021 first round pick. I think we will still be terrible picking at the top in 2021. We will need the draft capital to secure Sunshine.

Sorry, I don't see Miami trading three first round picks to move up two spots, even if one of them is next year. The three seconds the Jets traded is a lot less than three firsts. What the Redskins traded for RGIII was just idiotic.
I'd certainly try and get more, but as of right now, I'd take #3, #23, and a third. But I think it's moot. I don't see Miami trading up for Burrow. They have as many holes as we do, first round QBs bust all the time, and they might want to build other parts of their team first before trying for a QB in 2021.
It's a strong OT class. When that's the case quality OC/OG prospects tend to slide a little and offer value in that 30-40 range. Could easily play out that way for Biadasz.
If he is there at the top of Round 2, then the NYG have to sprint to Â
That is a hot spot for quality, year 1 starting, offensive linemen.
Sy I was thinking the same thing, and moreso that this OL class, and overall class, is plenty deep that there will be some or another very very good OL on the board at 34 or so.
It seems like the draft class will allow them to sit at 34 and see who drops, rather than to trade up like they did for Baker last year. Unless of course there is a specific player they have a hard on for, and have clearly rated as a "top half of the first round talent" like they did for Baker, and that particular player is still on the board from slot 26 on, and no one else is close in their eyes. Then again they might trade up.
Is pretty good center too many people are not mentioning him .......Lincoln Relly was quoted as saying he’s the best player he ever coached or something to that effect
After combine and workouts Biadasz will move into bottom of first rd. Â
Very strong at point of attack and terrific run blocker. It would be a dream draft if we were able to draft both Young and Biadasz.
I have been banging the drum loudly on Biadasz since last year.
is a need but this team has so many fucking needs. Can't just say "we need to take Biadasz with our 2nd pick" if there's a free safety or LB or hell even a DE with a similar grade, how do you weight that vs C? There will be a ton of talented players available with our 2nd round pick and we basically need everything.
early 2nd. I don't know where he'll go, but if we do end up with a twenty something pick, I'd be happy if we used it on him. He's a very good straight ahead blocker - not as good pulling or pass blocking.
down stuff is all fun stuff to think about, but your all putting the cart before the horse. The Giants play the Dolphins this week and then the Redskins. No guaranteed loses there. Have to actually attain the number one pick to realistically have such lofty dreams.
Biadasz at #23 works for me.
Biadasz at #23 works for me.
Sounds like a plan.
The fact that they didn't invite 5 to the Heisman and not invite JT is criminal.
Agreed. Young rd 1, Biadasz, Prince or another top OT round 2. 2 plug and play guys in the trenches.
2nd C Tyler Biadasz
3rd LT Walker Little
2nd C Tyler Biadasz
3rd LT Walker Little
That would be awesome if we sign Conklin and Yannick.

Works for me.
It would be Christmas in April if that were to happen and both Cincy and Miami go QB 1-2.
A guy can dream right?
Poetic justice since they faced each other twice this year.
Throw in Zack Baun in the 4th and I would be very very pleased.

I think the Giants will end up with a 3rd round comp pick so it will be interesting to see who’s available and what they do.
Biadasz at #23 works for me.
Seriously...this is absolutely how we get this team out of dodge. Gotta trade down this year no matter what.
