No.
He needs 16 yards, and Miami is only bringing 4 guys against 5 or 6. He needs to hang around to find a receiver- that's the only way they'll move the chains. It isn't his fault if the line doesn't block.

The fact that he cannot buy any extra time with his legs is the reason why he is no longer a starter in this league. The game has changed and left him behind.

Least mobile qb in the league right now. Just not his game.
Yup, a normally mobile QB would pick up the 16 yards with 7 dropped in coverage.
Literally not what anyone said. Escaping a sack was what the poster above me stated.
Love the BBI feature of not reading (or deliberately misconstruing) what people say in order to give a smart ass reply to something that was never even said.

Yup, and the fact remains that the biggest reason why the giants stink is that the OL doesn't function.
Daniel Jones is actually one of the most mobile QBs in the NFL- to minimal effect.

Yup he runs a 4.6 and rarely can find anywhere to go lol Janoris Jenkins should call more of our fans the "r word"

Dumb.
It's both. The line can't block, and Eli can't move.
biggest problem is the total lack of pressure on Fitzpatrick. That of course just further exposes our secondary, which is young or slow. On offense, we can't move ball.
Football at every level is won or lost "in the trenches." You're seeing that again today.
Nah. They don't like doing it and don't. If they had known they'd be expected to tackle they'd have chosen another line of work. But the Giants don't seem to expect it (tackling that is) so all that is just fine with everybody.
Dolphins are not going to get beaten by Slayton. They know he's the only real receiving threat. Their game plan is just to stop Barkley and double Slayton.
convinces me that the entire front office and coaching staff needs to go. the gants are the worse team in the league, without question and this is not going to change with just changing coaches

The point is Shurmur could still figure out a way to go to him if he was a halfway decent coach. Even if he they are shading coverage his way, you can still run plays for him.
They finally look his way and get the big PI setting up nice field position for the TD.
you guys are bitching because he celebrates a TD?!? guys...its still a game. he wasnt even close to getting stopped....
tate is a nice player ...upgrade the OL at all costs!
There was a defender way too close to him to do what he did. Tates nice, he doesnt get seperation which makes it tough on a QB but if you put it on him he makes tough catches.
Eli still as accurate throwing down the field as any QB in the game.
His arm and accuracy are fine. His arm is probably fresh because he hasn't played that much this year, but he can still throw. The problem is that he can't move, which is particularly concerning because the OL is poor.

Like most pocket QBs he knows how to move in the pocket if theres anywhere to step. Problem is yes, with this oline theres nowhere to move to. Yes it's a bad combo but any QB will do worse behind this line than they would behind an average line. They would find away to let Lamar Jackson get trapped (which would REALLY neuter his game but that's another discussion).
Turning and talking shit. GTFOH. Get in the fucking end zone. Clown.
what d-bag. if other teams were smart they would punch the football, but i guess that's a penalty, not sure. Another dude that is only concerned about himself regardless of how much he talks about "team". He needs to go along with his juice bag.
need for Barkley to come out. We had the 2 min warning and then a run and a pass to Barkley and he asks to come out...CMac never comes off the field...
Do we adjust? Hell no, we're the fucking Giants baby!
You obviously dont understand the schematics and the strategy of that 3rd down call.
Beal did his job.
which dupe are you again?
Cant argue the point can you, the CBs were tasked with playing the sticks. Allow the comeback route and make the tackle. That's what he did, it's a common strategy.
When a "dupe" has a better understanding of the game than you.. whoops.
You can argue the strategy, even though it worked. But Beal 1000% did what he was asked, that's not up for debate.
stat. Eli has thrown an INT against every team except the Giants. Considering that he's only played for the Giants it would be quite impressive if he threw an INT against them as well.

Have been sitting around waiting for one mistake lmao
What a fan base, Janoris was right.
Guess we should applaud an INT thrown to a WR double covered where a 16 year Vet doesn't see a LB?
I didn't see a double cover there. More like a zone read where the LB didn't follow the TE across to the outside and instead stayed right in the area where Shep was going.
has some promise and technique and skills. I’d give a new staff some opportunity to work him up and fit him in somehow. He’s been deficient on getting playing time one way or another last two years.

I don't see how Mara can bring DG & Shurmur back. Â
he is a profoundly disturbed & unhinged individual who is even sinking to denying he is who he is, despite that fact that his blubbering Eli mancrush is as apparent as ever.
(And as Eli plays like trash and should retire in 3 weeks).

I dont think people know what they mean when they say double covered. If they think they literally assigned double man Shepard with a CB and a LB they're high af lol the LB 100% came from a zone, which is how QBs get fooled. Man coverage doesnt fool anybody. It's less predictable in zone coverage to know where a defender is gonna move or stay.

Think you confused me with the other guy... that wasnt my comment bud...
If anyone wants to take a great trip down memory lane, pull up any thread where it was just incontrovertible that any stop gap QB would make just about as much as Manning, and he was the only option. And then take note Fitzpatrick will make 5.5M this year.

And thanks to certain posters, dep isn't here to defend himself over the claim it is him.
Are you kidding? We got to listen to you and him scream at anyone who dare question whether building around Eli was smart. He even said Eli was better for the Giants than Russell Wilson. And now since the moronic front office listened to the vocal minority of fans (you and him) were not worse than the Browns and Skins

Not to defend anyone, but I seriously doubt the front office is combing the boards here for expert advice on their re-signing practices.

You know exactly what I’m talking about. You and him led the ‘’Eli still has it” movement when he’s been absolutely toast since 2016. And ownership and front office listened and now the team is an utter disaster as a result
The whole team sucks. Eli looks no different than Jones, just different strengths and weaknesses. I don't think any Q would look good on this team, this is a stupid argument. We need to fix other things. Give either one protection and they will do well.
drive. Good protection for Eli. Slayton with a nice move at the back of the end zone to get open. After all those missed day three picks, it's nice to finally find one who can play, and excel.
Eli is getting much better protection against a really shitty Dline.
Not wrong about Eli getting rid of it quickly, but 1st half last week and for the most part today he is getting decent time.

Today has been a weird day for the oline, a few really really bad breakdowns, but some really really well blocked plays shockingly enough.
Not a good look at home, which could be his final Giant game.
To be fair one of those picks was a half time "fuck it" chuck job.
The other 2, one bad read where he missed the LB. This one just a bad decision thinking he could fit that through. I think he saw the LB and thought he could get it by him, no chance though.

DeAndre Baker is walking around now behind the Giants' bench. So, at the very least, that's somewhat of a positive sign.
But I don’t know whether Latimer messed up or that was play design or the Dolphin linebacker smelled a rat.l or made a happy screwup. There was no one within 25 yards of Latimer if he simply heads for the post and the lb is then totally irrelevant. Go for the big play ok but go for the end zone.
we can still lose this and hope for a Redskins win.
Lol you were saying?
This game honestly felt like a win from the beginning. We have no talent but I think we have a pinch more than the dolphins who really should be even worse than their 3-10 record lol
a real team with a real coach could likely produce, it is fascinating and I wonder if he will get a shot.
I doubt it because he is old and when he is bad he look so bad. But, it was kinda always like that, in many ways he looks similar to how he always has.
Many say he is an inconsistent player, I actually have the opposite view and he is an absurdly consistent player. warts and all.
The Giants play the Redskins next. Both teams suck and that's a very winnable game. And you never know if the Eagles will still be fighting in the final week or if they'll be out of it.
I'd feel way, way better if the Giants lost this game.

Slow down Rocco..
We are playing the Dolphins AND Eli has years of film for other teams to figure out what he is all about.
He just still kinda looks the same. It is fascinating.
Likely this is it anyway, but would be very interested if he gets a shot on a team that has a foundation and just needs someone to come lead that offense and make some plays.
Fins have Bengals @ home next week. That's likely win 4. Even if we win today, we have 3 wins. Right now, I'd take Skins over us. The last game could be huge.
draft position since we have (hopefully) a QB to build with going forward
Who knows how any of this works out? Getting a lower pick and not getting the player everyone thinks is the tits now may work out better in the long run.
That player could be a bust, get hurt, someone else emerges.
Seriously, look back at other drafts, there is no real way to know. Why even worry?
Idk. Jones looking like shit in a loss doesn’t bode well for our future QB prospects.
Today is bad for a couple reasons. One is the draft, but more troubling is that this meaningless game could factor into Gettleman and even Shurmur returning.
Has nothing to do with draft position. It has everything to do with ownership using this as an excuse to save Shurmur’s job. That would be the worst possible scenario IMHO.

No fckin way. Mara knows it's the god damn dolphins.
Right??

Seems some here have let their fascination with the football God that is Chase Young get just a bit out of hand. Does he have the potential to be a great NFL player. Yes. Are there other players who will be in the upcoming draft who also have the potential to be great NFL players? YES!!! And they can be drafted at #2, #5, #50 or anywhere else in the draft. The thing is to FIND them!!! Look at Shaq Barrett for TB; guy has 16.5 sacks and he was UNDRAFTED! Rooting for losses for this one guy is just....ugh. We will have plenty of draft picks. Where ever those picks fall, draft the best prospect at that spot. Period. If thats Chase Young...great. If not...find the next best guy.

Wouldn't we want the Eagles to win this game so they have something to play for in the final week? The Skins winning doesn't do much unless the Giants beat them next week too. And if it comes to that, the Giants screwed their draft position anyway so it wouldn't matter much.

Good post. In all likelihood he won't have the best career of all defenders taken. Look at where Donald was drafted.
help spring SB for TD was just how fast he got to the edge. Have we ever seen Zeitler do that? Have Giants ever called that play with Zeitler in the lineup?
Just can't enjoy a Giants win even for a damn minute.
You are not seeing the big picture. It is not just about draft position. Most fans want wholesale changes to occur after the season ends. We do not want any end of season meaningless wins to give Mara an excuse to keep the coach and GM.
There’s plenty of opportunity to get good players in this draft and DG has shown he can get the job done there, if he’s still here of course. Oline has like 5 first round graded players this year and Lord knows we need some good Olinemen!
More concerned about fantasy points and draft position. If you want them to lose, then dont watch or post bringing fans who just wanna see a win down
Exactly. I don't enjoy (unfortunately) going to a friend's house anymore to watch the games because he and his 10 year old spend all 3 hours staring at their phones and talking about their dumb fantasy teams while mostly ignoring the game on the big TV screen right in front of them

I think im OK with the GM, not GOOD, but OK. Want to see what he can do in FA with some $$$ in his wallet; no more dumpster diving. Wont kill me if he is gone, but his drafts have been at least OK after seasons of BAD from his predecessor.
The coach and the entire coaching staff MUST GO! I feel like im seeing flashes of talent from some of the kids on this team, but they need good coaching, and they arent getting it IMHO. Hard to even judge the draft picks when they are receiving this kind of coaching.
Just enjoy the win!! I think Shurmur has done enough to avoid returning. As for the draft, 5 years from now, we will all be talking about some 2nd or 3rd round pick that ended up being the best defensive player in the draft.
Suddenly, picks are guarantees? Look at last year's vaunted QB class. How many proclamations did we hear about can't miss prospects. Look at the maneuvering some teams did. And now, the leading MVP candidate was the last QB taken in the first round and almost made it to round 2.
There are plenty of EDGE rushers taken in the top 10 who have busted. Our best pass rusher (outside of LT), was a second round pick.
In his final home start the team shockingly did something that I havnt seen in a long long time.. win a game for him rather than the other way around.
I cant count how many games Eli has carried the team, this is the first time I've seen them carry him to a win since like 2006 lol I'm shocked right now.. but it is the dolphins so, thanks guys.

If a late season win over the Miami Dolphins causes Mara to keep Shurmur, then we have a much larger problem on our hands.
FA signings have been a disaster. No way do I want him spending our projected FA money, especially since his first move will likely be to grossly overpay for Williams simply to justify the draft capital he traded to get him. I also want to use some of that money to cut Solder.
Today. Winning this game does nothing for this team, in fact it hurts them more than anything.
Don’t necessarily agree. The young guys need to learn how to win. We’ll be ok in the draft, even without a guy like Young.
What's is losing out on Young (who may stay at OSU anyway) AND Andrew Thomas. I guess I'd go with Jeudy but then 1 of Shep or Tate has to go. Think I'd vote to trade Shep.

there is no such thing as a "meaningless game" in the NFL. It helps with morale and with developing the younger players. Winning is not going to save the coaches ass.
We are going to draft in the top 5 and we will get a good player. I can't speak for anyone else but the Giants winning makes me happy until the next game.

Trade down and take Gross Matos and an OT.
There may not be anyone clamoring to trade up to 4 or 5 if the bengals and dolphins each took a qb already
win today likely removes any chance that DG will be fired.
That would be unbelievable stupid. The decision to fire both Gettleman and Shurmur should have been made back in October.
I'm betting if we beat Washington next week, not just Gettleman, but Shurmur - and Bettcher - come back next year.
Friggin Vito from Queens watching the game in his mom's basement with a couple sixers down can seen that a) the Dolphins stink, and b) this coaching staff has been overmatched in damn near every game this year and c) our young players are not being developed.

Also, even with the win, we still in the number two spot. Washington is playing much better football then us and they're home next week. So don't panic just yet

We always beat Washington. Miami was also playing better football before this game.
Fading away from the ball. I really dont see him ever being a good CB, hated the pick from the second it happened.
Takes CBs time to develop. He’s shown flashes last half of the season. That was all technique. He played it wrong and Withers needs to do a better job coaching him up.

You should take a look at Shaq Barrett before using him as an example.
You pick high for players like Myles Garrett or Joey and Nick Bosa, actual defensive difference makers who play well from day 1 shaq Barrett is a failed draft pick who broke out after his original team let him go.

I have watched Shaq Barrett for several years here in Denver with the Broncos. Always liked him a lot, but he had a lot of talent in front of him. IMHO, Classic case of a kid who needed an opportunity. I was hoping Giants would show some interest but he went to TB. You obviously think differently about him and thats OK too, but yeah, always liked what I saw in him in the opportunities that he had with the Broncos.
Today. Winning this game does nothing for this team, in fact it hurts them more than anything.
Don’t necessarily agree. The young guys need to learn how to win. We’ll be ok in the draft, even without a guy like Young.
I agree, all these young guys are coming back. Banks was saying it's important for them to win some games.
With a career loser like PS they'll never learn how to win. Losing out was the best case scenario for this bunch: guaranteed that PS is gone and possibly DG. Don't want ownership thinking they can turn it around and compete as their self evaluation has been complete garbage.
If not...find the next best guy.

at sucking.
Followed by terrible blocking
I don't want it to sound like I'm going out on a limb here, but I think the Giants might be terrible.
If he would just hulk flex he could send the 3 rusher who got free flying
Least mobile qb in the league right now. Just not his game.
No.
He needs 16 yards, and Miami is only bringing 4 guys against 5 or 6. He needs to hang around to find a receiver- that's the only way they'll move the chains. It isn't his fault if the line doesn't block.
That's as embarrassing as anything I've seen.

Yup, a normally mobile QB would pick up the 16 yards with 7 dropped in coverage.

The fact that he cannot buy any extra time with his legs is the reason why he is no longer a starter in this league. The game has changed and left him behind.

Brady is no more mobile, at all. But he at least has somewhere to step. Eli gets surrounded from every angle.
Only way out is to Brandon Jacobs a DT.

Literally not what anyone said. Escaping a sack was what the poster above me stated.

Yup, and the fact remains that the biggest reason why the giants stink is that the OL doesn't function.

Love to see them try to get Barkley on a wheel or something where he doesn’t have navigate defenders in the backfield!
Love seems to be in the right place on many plays.

That's these coaches telling him to slam it up the middle, these pricks are actively looking to neuter Barry Sanders
Looks a lot better last two weeks!
Probably hurt his own cause by getting back in so soon after his injury. But kudos for wanting to play through it.
He was a lot better at quick moves and picking up blitzes last week. Love to see him finish strong.
he's been injured, that's all.
Absolutely agree
As Ogletree blows any easy tackle..playing at halfspeed.
That's these coaches telling him to slam it up the middle, these pricks are actively looking to neuter Barry Sanders
We've seen that too much this season.
Has to be coaching. Telling him to run into hernandez's stoic ass is a way better plan. Dipshits.
Fucking loved that. Hahah.
He has quit.
All good
As Ogletree blows any easy tackle..playing at halfspeed.
Behind? He put it on his left shoulder lol not the perfect spot but maybe if Tate could get a quarter inch of seperation.
Jesus christ, the hole Eli has to throw into is smaller than a football.
When he tweets some disparaging remark tomorrow we will know...
But I was thinking the same thing.
It definitely looks like he’s making business decisions out there.
Evan Engram
Rhett Ellison
Kevin Zeitler
Wayne Gallman
Chad Slade
Only six players with JJ cut
Williams doesn't suck. He's quite good. The trade was just stupid.
Another scramble by Fitzpatrick.
As Ogletree blows any easy tackle..playing at halfspeed.
Also idk what step you're seeing, the corner was literally inside Tates butthole.
outside of the game thread... just about every one of your posts is about Gettleman. There is a life out there for you... somewhere.
I feel like we say this every year
He’s shown absolutely nothing. He is average at best. What a brain dead trade.
I think Mayo wouldve been a pretty good LB, about 30 years ago.
Which kinda fits Gettlemans prototype to be honest.
I know, it’s a very bad feeling, but I have to keep telling myself, it’s for the greater good.
And Washington too
To be fair you're pretty much not even allowed to anymore. You can hit dummies and that's about it, and they dont put up much a fight.
Gettleman should be ashamed.
It’s unreal how bad they are.
Because he's a loser

Football at every level is won or lost "in the trenches." You're seeing that again today.
Miami isn't good. We're just awful.
This is on DG. These are his players.
Nah. They don't like doing it and don't. If they had known they'd be expected to tackle they'd have chosen another line of work. But the Giants don't seem to expect it (tackling that is) so all that is just fine with everybody.
Quote:
Slayton is on this team? How did he go away from him Monday night and not devise some plays to feature him this week?
Thanks for reminding me he even exists. What a disappearing act by Shurmur
yea shurmur is a joke. slayton beasted on Monday and now he invisible vs an equally poor secondary. emabrrassing
him/shep and slayton is a nice trio. we need to fix the OL
Yeah he almost got tackled at the 15 for being an idiot. I want him off the team too.
That wasn’t a perfect throw just now, but yes he’s throwing well
him/shep and slayton is a nice trio. we need to fix the OL
This
Nearly fell on his ass, too.
The point is Shurmur could still figure out a way to go to him if he was a halfway decent coach. Even if he they are shading coverage his way, you can still run plays for him.
They finally look his way and get the big PI setting up nice field position for the TD.
Quote:
is Tate doing turning around and running backwards into the end zone at all, let alone with a defender that close?
Nearly fell on his ass, too.
Yup.
He's showing a complete lack of awareness that he plays for the worst team in the league.
I might sooner replace Shep with a real outside WR
tate is a nice player ...upgrade the OL at all costs!
#365 Passing TDs
+1 very DeSean Jackson like, buh-bye!
Not the first time.
tate is a nice player ...upgrade the OL at all costs!
There was a defender way too close to him to do what he did. Tates nice, he doesnt get seperation which makes it tough on a QB but if you put it on him he makes tough catches.
His arm and accuracy are fine. His arm is probably fresh because he hasn't played that much this year, but he can still throw. The problem is that he can't move, which is particularly concerning because the OL is poor.
Quote:
Eli still as accurate throwing down the field as any QB in the game.

No worries about the punt. A 99 yard drive is next.
Yes, good sign
I see QBs shed a rusher who got through all the time, but not 3...
That's not in the sticky note.. I mean playbook
He needs one in the worst way. Let's go, Giants!
what d-bag. if other teams were smart they would punch the football, but i guess that's a penalty, not sure. Another dude that is only concerned about himself regardless of how much he talks about "team". He needs to go along with his juice bag.
This officiating group is intolerable.
Bit odd
Guess your not watching the game?
Gettle was clutching his pearls signing him, like some of the other bums he wasted money on.
Better hope so.
Also the refs shorted Barkley 2 fucking yards. He clearly went out at the marker.
Dolphins TD incoming.

I'm saying that thankyoueli isn't dep. I've been shown proof it isn't him. Have no fucking clue what the rest of the shit you are rambling about is concerning.
You know exactly what I’m talking about. You and him led the ‘’Eli still has it” movement when he’s been absolutely toast since 2016. And ownership and front office listened and now the team is an utter disaster as a result

How do you know it's not?
And if you're correct, then he's doing a remarkable impression of dep, complete with hyperbolic & blubbering Eli adoration and horrific grammar.
How could any giantsfan possibly think so highly of Eli Manning, there can only be one...
Critical thinking.
Guess last Monday night didn't count?
If we somehow win out-which I doubt-& that's the justification to bring Shurmur back, I, uh...OMFG.
Hello, Mrs. Shurmur!
Agree. The one thing Eli has over Jones is he knows how to read the defense. Jones needs a few years for that yet.
And thanks to certain posters, dep isn't here to defend himself over the claim it is him.
Dep got banned in a perfectly reasonable, civil, thread with me where he completely lost his shit for no reason.
The notion it's "thanks to certain posters" is completely inaccurate and not reflective of the truth in any universe.
If that happens, I'm gonna have a Scanners moment.
He will, Daniel Jones is always just trying to do too much. He'll learn to reel it in, he's too smart.

Yeah, he also said earlier Baker's weak point was his press man coverage. When we all know that's what he does best.
Yup shin clearly down.
We can't stand prosperity.
Hmm, if it was ruled not a fumble, it would not have been overruled..
I don’t think I have any faith anymore with replay refs and the giants. Glad they got one right!

Who exactly did we pick on Monday night?
This is all good news for us. There is no reason at all to win the game at this point.
LOL.
Don't worry. That bounce-back season is due any year now.
Maybe on O but I think the rookie DB's are improving as is DLaw, Tomlinson, and XMan.
To be fair one of those picks was a half time "fuck it" chuck job.
The other 2, one bad read where he missed the LB. This one just a bad decision thinking he could fit that through. I think he saw the LB and thought he could get it by him, no chance though.
He's always done stupid shit like that though, since day one.
Desperation is the key word. To be fair hes really trying hard to make something happen, likely for his career.
It was pick or sack on that 3rd down.

Looked more like a knee to me or even his shin. Didn't see anything with the ankle there at all.

DeAndre Baker is walking around now behind the Giants' bench. So, at the very least, that's somewhat of a positive sign.

DeAndre Baker has a knee injury according to Giants. Return is questionable.
I'd question the severity if they're having him riding the stationary bike.
If it wasnt the dolphins.
Not this time.

we can still lose this and hope for a Redskins win.
Wonder if that is legal creating artificial wind?

Lol you were saying?
This game honestly felt like a win from the beginning. We have no talent but I think we have a pinch more than the dolphins who really should be even worse than their 3-10 record lol
That was on the run too
I agree 100%
yeah this sucks despite the excitement of some positive plays. We need to lose this game.
Even when we win we lose.

Agreed.
Slow down Rocco..
We are playing the Dolphins AND Eli has years of film for other teams to figure out what he is all about.
F that, lose out, or we continue to Lose For the next couple of seasons!

Likely this is it anyway, but would be very interested if he gets a shot on a team that has a foundation and just needs someone to come lead that offense and make some plays.

Depends on strength of schedule numbers. Head to head doesn’t matter
Yes.
Even if it did, Dolphins aren't winning out. They still have to play the Bengals and Pats.
We need to lose next Sunday.
We were just starting to dream about #1...
This could get bad.
They are not beating the Cowboys or Eagles. So yeah, the are getting the #2 pick.
We aren’t beating the skins or the eagles..and the dolphins can beat the bengals..it’s still possible..
We need to lose next Sunday.
Idk. Jones looking like shit in a loss doesn’t bode well for our future QB prospects.
Who knows how any of this works out? Getting a lower pick and not getting the player everyone thinks is the tits now may work out better in the long run.
That player could be a bust, get hurt, someone else emerges.
Seriously, look back at other drafts, there is no real way to know. Why even worry?
IF you need a QB, I get it.
Yeah, we'll be in the #2 spot regardless of what happens this week. But we get Washington next week.

Today is bad for a couple reasons. One is the draft, but more troubling is that this meaningless game could factor into Gettleman and even Shurmur returning.

even if we pick 5th, we'll get a great player. if 2 QBs are picked before us we'll get the best OT in the draft or Simmons.
No fckin way. Mara knows it's the god damn dolphins.
Right??
That's my concern too. Not draft position.
Don't know where we'll pick, but PS is a goner. For reals.

+1.
We need to lose next Sunday.
Nice of them to win a meaningless game after dropping 10 straight.
You are not seeing the big picture. It is not just about draft position. Most fans want wholesale changes to occur after the season ends. We do not want any end of season meaningless wins to give Mara an excuse to keep the coach and GM.
Winning today is like a 5 minute sugar high.
Exactly. I don't enjoy (unfortunately) going to a friend's house anymore to watch the games because he and his 10 year old spend all 3 hours staring at their phones and talking about their dumb fantasy teams while mostly ignoring the game on the big TV screen right in front of them
Fan F'ing Tastic eh?
That would be unbelievable stupid. The decision to fire both Gettleman and Shurmur should have been made back in October.
Relax, not every fan has to be a cheerleader.
They want what's best for the team.

Actually a win does change his win% lol
But in all seriousness I agree, that coupled with the regression of this team.
Winning today is like a 5 minute sugar high.
And look at the schedule next year. If Shurmur/Bettcher come back next year, we will go 0-16.
Enjoy the game!!!!!!
Don’t necessarily agree. The young guys need to learn how to win. We’ll be ok in the draft, even without a guy like Young.
ELI.

Trade down and take Gross Matos and an OT.
We are going to draft in the top 5 and we will get a good player. I can't speak for anyone else but the Giants winning makes me happy until the next game.

There may not be anyone clamoring to trade up to 4 or 5 if the bengals and dolphins each took a qb already

Friggin Vito from Queens watching the game in his mom's basement with a couple sixers down can seen that a) the Dolphins stink, and b) this coaching staff has been overmatched in damn near every game this year and c) our young players are not being developed.
You think Mara cant see any of this as well???
If this win saves people I will be so pissed.

Takes CBs time to develop. He’s shown flashes last half of the season. That was all technique. He played it wrong and Withers needs to do a better job coaching him up.
DB's get beat every now and then. That is how this works.
You should take a look at Shaq Barrett before using him as an example.

With a career loser like PS they'll never learn how to win. Losing out was the best case scenario for this bunch: guaranteed that PS is gone and possibly DG. Don't want ownership thinking they can turn it around and compete as their self evaluation has been complete garbage.
