Seems some here have let their fascination with the football God that is Chase Young get just a bit out of hand. Does he have the potential to be a great NFL player. Yes. Are there other players who will be in the upcoming draft who also have the potential to be great NFL players? YES!!! And they can be drafted at #2, #5, #50 or anywhere else in the draft. The thing is to FIND them!!! Look at Shaq Barrett for TB; guy has 16.5 sacks and he was UNDRAFTED! Rooting for losses for this one guy is just....ugh. We will have plenty of draft picks. Where ever those picks fall, draft the best prospect at that spot. Period. If thats Chase Young...great. If not...find the next best guy.

Wouldn't we want the Eagles to win this game so they have something to play for in the final week? The Skins winning doesn't do much unless the Giants beat them next week too. And if it comes to that, the Giants screwed their draft position anyway so it wouldn't matter much.

Good post. In all likelihood he won't have the best career of all defenders taken. Look at where Donald was drafted.
help spring SB for TD was just how fast he got to the edge. Have we ever seen Zeitler do that? Have Giants ever called that play with Zeitler in the lineup?

There’s plenty of opportunity to get good players in this draft and DG has shown he can get the job done there, if he’s still here of course. Oline has like 5 first round graded players this year and Lord knows we need some good Olinemen!
More concerned about fantasy points and draft position. If you want them to lose, then dont watch or post bringing fans who just wanna see a win down
Exactly. I don't enjoy (unfortunately) going to a friend's house anymore to watch the games because he and his 10 year old spend all 3 hours staring at their phones and talking about their dumb fantasy teams while mostly ignoring the game on the big TV screen right in front of them

The coach and the entire coaching staff MUST GO! I feel like im seeing flashes of talent from some of the kids on this team, but they need good coaching, and they arent getting it IMHO. Hard to even judge the draft picks when they are receiving this kind of coaching.
Just enjoy the win!! I think Shurmur has done enough to avoid returning. As for the draft, 5 years from now, we will all be talking about some 2nd or 3rd round pick that ended up being the best defensive player in the draft.
Suddenly, picks are guarantees? Look at last year's vaunted QB class. How many proclamations did we hear about can't miss prospects. Look at the maneuvering some teams did. And now, the leading MVP candidate was the last QB taken in the first round and almost made it to round 2.
There are plenty of EDGE rushers taken in the top 10 who have busted. Our best pass rusher (outside of LT), was a second round pick.
In his final home start the team shockingly did something that I havnt seen in a long long time.. win a game for him rather than the other way around.
I cant count how many games Eli has carried the team, this is the first time I've seen them carry him to a win since like 2006 lol I'm shocked right now.. but it is the dolphins so, thanks guys.

If a late season win over the Miami Dolphins causes Mara to keep Shurmur, then we have a much larger problem on our hands.
FA signings have been a disaster. No way do I want him spending our projected FA money, especially since his first move will likely be to grossly overpay for Williams simply to justify the draft capital he traded to get him. I also want to use some of that money to cut Solder.

there is no such thing as a "meaningless game" in the NFL. It helps with morale and with developing the younger players. Winning is not going to save the coaches ass.
We are going to draft in the top 5 and we will get a good player. I can't speak for anyone else but the Giants winning makes me happy until the next game.
