My guess is the reason is analytics. Don't know the exact numbers but it was the reason Shurmur went for it down 8 vs. the Falcons. It doesn't look good when you fail on the first attempt.

Lamar is a better passer and has had a lot more success than RG3, they’re really not that comparable. He’s much better at avoiding contact as well, which is what really sets him apart from most mobile QBs.
Probably not in PPR leagues.
