Has there been any buzz on hiring a QB coach? Gilbride had that role early in Eli's career.
It seems that the benefit to Jones' development is a criterion for selecting an OC. I get that in terms of game planning and calling. But apparently he needs work with his footwork (and holding on to the ball) among other things.
Wouldn't those types of tasks be better offloaded to a QB coach?
Michael Lombardi's the ex NFL GM's son

Bingo
Hey Mick, light, no sugar.
Sure Mr. Brady.
Agree, I hated that arrangement. It meant somewhere in the chain one or more jobs was not getting 100% focus.

Also probably drove the kids to school when Giselle was out of town

If his son is a possible candidate I will certainly be rooting against hiring him. Lombardi can go f himself after all the bs he's spewed about the Giants, specifically even just last week about how the Rhule situation went down.

Seems like a weird way to view it (and a little unfair to hold it against someone that one of their parents has been negative toward the team), but I can understand why you'd feel that way. Personally, I'd just like whatever is best for the Giants and improves their chances of being a winning team again, but I get it that some guys are tougher to root for.
