We're actually a good fit for someone like Simmons as we have the beef up front to keep him relatively clean and able to fly about.

Both the Ravens ILB are similar sizes (Onwuasar is 227, Bynes is 235). 49ers too - Greenlaw, Warner, and Kwon Alexander are all listed 230 or less.
Recent combine weights for Devin Bush (234), Devin White (237), and Darius Leonard (234) were similar and they were all studs from day 1.

I think you're misunderstanding BSS's point. He wasn't talking about the Titans and Ravens LBs. He is pontificating that the repercussions of defenses switching to smaller, faster players will be that teams begin focusing their offenses more heavily on the running game like the Titans and Ravens.
How can we run 4-3 AND 3-4 when we have six DT's and NO LB's ? Maybe DG will sign Leonard Williams to play safety in a all DT defense ? He might be able to finally get a sack on a safety blitz.
Graham has 1yr experience as a DC and Judge has zero experience as a HC.
Not super excited about this hire.

That's how I see it too. Simmons might be vulnerable to a power running game, but we have so much interior beef up-front, that we're in a great position to have a speedy/rangy cover type of LB (who can also pass rush). He would add a lot of speed and versatility to our defense.

I have an MBA from a pretty good (albeit not elite) school and while he's probably no dummy I don't think it's this uber challenging degree. Also, if you get a good MBA, there's no such thing as an MBA in Finance, it's a generalist degree, Finance can be a concentration, but it's just an MBA.

It's all relative. I don't think in a vacuum you can be a dummy and a DC in the NFL, but you could be the dumbest DC in the NFL, and relatively dumb.
