on that little underneath route, look at that accurate throw by Burrow. He hits the receiver right in stride, and places the ball on the outside where only he can catch it.
has excellent pocket presence and poise. He doesn't get rattled by the rush, keeps his eyes up, and has a knack for knowing how to avoid or escape pressure. Combine that with his height, build, strong arm, and terrific accuracy, and he's easily the best QB prospect in years. I can't see Cincinnati not taking him at #1. They need a QB, and he's also from Ohio.
I agree. His second half vs Alabama was an amazing performance. He seems to have every tool and great size.
And borderline taunting than they used to. Granted I haven’t consistently watched college football since the late 90’s so maybe it’s been this way for a while
Agree but every time Simmons was on him he couldn't do anything. No idea why Clemson went away from that other than needing Simmons to do more than just cover him tonight.

I think that's one thing for sure we can take away from this game.
Terrell is a projected 2020 2nd round pick and he's been burned for 3 TDs tonight, should have been 4 TDs if #1 doesn't drop that pass in the 3rd quarter.
Burrow clearly came into this game planning on attacking Terrell regardless of who he's guarding.
But before we start talking about trading half our team for him can we just remember that Haskins had ~5000 yards and 50 TDs as well? An NFL-caliber supporting cast combined with a fantastic system can do wonders in college football.
when someone is trying to convince you that the Bengals are going to draft someone else you only have to remember this game. How could the Bengals ever justify to their fans not taking Burrow at 1.
If Lawrence is the best QB prospect since Elway, what does that make Burrow? The best QB prospect since... ever?
Lawrence is having an off night for sure. I don't like the play mix for him. Too many RPOs. And he's just not getting his footwork right. And he is starting to overthrow.
They needs to get him into some straight drops and make some simpler throws. But it may be too late now...

just as a NCAA - caliber supporting cast combined with a terrible system could ( and probably will) amoount to nothing in the NFL no matter how good the QB

If you don't see the difference between their college seasons then I don't think you watched closely enough.
It's way more than just similar stats. Competition would be one difference as Burrow is doing it against much better comp.

There is a qualitative difference though. Burrow just kills you, repeatedly. He simply seems unstoppable once he gets going. It is awesome and terrifying to behold.
Very strange PI calls and non calls for Clemson...

Been enjoying flipping back and forth between this and regular broadcast.

Yeah it can definitely use some polish but it's a cool idea.
win their share of the battles. So far that hasn't been the case.
I love this rb from LSU just hard nosed.

Patrick Queen is all over the place. Jumping off the screen.
It's really impressive how average they are making Lawrence look.
Burrow is a stone cold killer.

Burrow looks like a finished product. He is 23, so I think that makes a difference.
In my view Burrow is equal to Luck coming out.

#4, Jones and Barkley for #1 is worth it....

honestly.. i would do it..
Cincinnati wouldn't take the call.

They'd take it, they may not say yes or they may ask for more...

I'll say it again. I really like their LT Charles. He's tough and athletic...
